No i could tell, if you did NOT underestimate SR, you would have not capped that flag at the first game allowing them to execute the transition play. That is pure underestimation.

Probably should not brag too much about those tarnished championships. You can brag when you all actually win one without controversy. Modesty is the best policy.

This rule was very much in discussion and STILL up in the air completely for many teams till that specific moment with WFS. It was until after that that Myrm made clarifications to that post.

Anyway, I just wanted to give a quick shout out to everyone that was commentating the games. It was a delight. There some hiccups and such but nothing that wont get ironed out in practice. Especially huge shout out to HB, the master of hype. He made something as simple as a conc shot seem like the most exciting thing in the game. And to... I've forgotten your name. But the stream went down and you maintained the commenting in chat. That was fucking excellent. Thank you for that extra bit of effort.

People can nay-say all day long but as an observer, I have to say I had a blast. Even with the huge delays it was an enjoyable weekend of watching people play at a pretty high level. Especially Roula. Jesus, that guy. What a champ.

yes, this was updated and clarified to change it so no more misunderstandings happened. this is a new rule, different from the original one.

I was trying to keep this professional but since we're diving into firing shots @ people on my team, a guy who literally stayed up until 11am to make sure we could finish our games I suppose i'll respond to it.

Roula played this cup infinitely better than you. In fact, almost every FC in this tournament did. It got to a point your team was sending 4-5 people to help you pick the flag due to your inability to do anything yourself. You might as well forfeit your tournament winnings to your team for babysitting you the past few months. This thread didn't turn into a team vs team flame fest until you made it one. You've always acted like an irrational child over the years & it's lead to most people not liking you, shocker.

I can assure you i'm not here looking for your respect. In case I haven't' made it painfully obvious already I don't respect your play & I don't respect your attitude.

It makes me sad reading about everything that happened, but let me just say one thing that is getting overlooked with all these heated talks:

Learn from these mistakes. Make next year's TC fucking phenomenal. Keep up the pugmades and exhibition games. Winn and HB, please keep hosting wargames and doing commentary. I have been playing this game longer than half of you combined, and this was just an absolutely awesome experience for me to see such a strong, tight-knit community again.

The fact that everybody is rattled and talking shit is great. Obviously not always, as it just becomes a detriment to the bracket. But in short, healthy spurts, it creates rivalries and competition.

Maybe this year didn't end so great, but I'm confident next year will be (at least a little) better.
