EU+US Tanaris

Get a mage to port you to Vale of Eternal Blossoms and set your hearth there. That way you have all faction cities + Shat & Dal. There is also a gnome standing next to a teleportation thingy outside of the shrine itself that can port you to ratchet(For Northern Barrens invasions). Best way to get around :)
 
Ok cool. I guess for some reason I didn't think I could go to Dal at 19, but i guess i did get to Ashran. I set all my max toons to Vale so not sure why I didn't connect the dots...
 
For Tanaris in particular: use the portal in the Violet Citadel (Dalaran) it takes you to the caverns of time and you will be locked in but you can just afk.
 
YOU DO NOT NEED A MAGE. You will need at least 2-3 Gold though.

1. Take a Zepp to Borean Tundra/Howling Fjord.
2. Find the Flight Master.
3. Fly to Dalaran for 2g.
Optional: Set Hearth in Dalaran
4. Take portal in Violet Citadel to Tanaris.

All players should have access to Dalaran FP. At least I'm pretty sure.
 
Yeah Sorry i didn't go any further than saying there is a Dal port at Shrine haha, Got Sidetracked. Violet Citadel Portal in Dal is %100 the fastest.

Or u can get a mage and get everywhere easier. Shrine is best hearth in every single way lol.

While most of my twinks have shrine as their hearth - and I'd almost always recommend it - its not the best in *EVERY* way.

For rogues, the BiS headpiece means you need to spend some time in Draenor. Especially if you want to take the time to collect all the colors. Warspear (or w/e the alliance equivalent is) provides portals to the 3 main cities and allows you easier flightpoint access to the pickpocket locations.

I've also run into a problem where a high level bird would somehow aggro and fly down to kill me in the middle of shrine. Never figured that one out, but it still happens occasionally.

Also I have to get engineering on my twinks again to get access to the auctioneer. Not a big deal since lifeblood and +crit skinning no longer exist though.

BiS rogue helm takes 30 minutes, why would you need to hearth there?

Also it takes 30 minutes if you have an escort and someone hand feeding you the stuff. If you are soloing it can take a while.
