Take it up with Blizzard, not me.

This is more to the community as a whole but I feel like this thread is drifting towards whether twinking is moral and to what extent its detrimental and those conversations have been had a million times. No one is saying twinking is immoral or bad or that youre a shitbag/wrong for doing it here. We are all here under the same community, we all love this shit, and want to continue doing it. I think the initial points being made towards Doogie and others were that its completely reasonable for people to be angry towards how we play, as it is in fact NOT fun to hold W and hit nothing. Level 10 or 80, doesnt really matter, 10-11 just tends to be a bit more egregious than 80s. So if people send hate whispers or talk shit just let them, because ultimately we are the ones bending Blizzards rules and using loopholes. Obtaining gear we are ALL VERY AWARE shouldnt be obtainable at the levels we choose. Just cause you find legal loopholes doesn't mean people wont hate you for it, or that you're immune. So for that reason it is best for us to be the bigger community, let them talk their shit about us. Who cares. The only thing firing back and stoking the flame does is create bigger rifts, make the tension bigger, reduce public opinion on us and possibly even push us down a road of obliterating the xp off guy, since he really only serves us anymore tbh. And I don't think anyone here wants that.

Just block the dude, ignore it and move on. And let's not adopt the ego mindset of "they should thank us for the carry". Cause I think we all know that logic is pretty BS, right? It's certainly not our job to make sure they're having fun, but if we are the primary reason they aren't having fun, we also cant sit and act like they should thank us for a terrible experience for saving them like 3 mins. You wouldn't 5 star review and thank a restaurant for a negative experience just cause it saved you $10. If theyre not having fun, theyre not having fun. If they V2K you they V2K you. Just finish the run and go again. No reason stoke any flames. We aren't wrong for twinking. They aren't wrong for complaining that 5 man content just got solod. However, we are in the wrong for telling them not to complain about a shitty game system, or that they should thank us. So lets just be sure not to cross that line.

All fair points here. I just want to clarify my position, just in case there was any confusion before and for future commenters: I don't think twinking is good or bad for the game. It's definitely fun for me though, so I do it. As stated in the title, though, they have no need to complain to me. All this person is doing is attacking me for having a good time, which I don't think is fair of them to do without communicating so sooner (this was at the end of the dungeon right when we were all leaving group). They can go to the forums or Reddit for that and maybe Blizz will consider actually fixing scaling. However, I especially don't want to be banned/suspended just by playing the game normally (yes, I consider twinking to be normal now), so I just hope they aren't reporting me for no reason and a bot bans/suspends me for no good reason.

And again, I have since just been saying preemptively "hey, lmk if I am going to fast". no one has complained yet.
 
In some ways the game is ment to be played this way… just not at low levels

I mean that’s what kind of gets me about the game is that at max level you run the same dungeons over and over again getting better gear to blast through it faster and faster


All twinkling does is rocket yourself into that position at a much faster rate

I mean people literally doing this in end game pvp where they have all the best gear and are 2 shoting fresh 80s in greens
