The upgrade guy is back guys! We can upgrade our Sun-Lute's, polearms, off-hands and trinkets now!

Only 250 Valor and 750 Justice per upgrade!

So since 5.3, battle pet dailies give Valor Points! And not little either, I must add.
Here is a list of ALL the dailies that give Valor Points on your 85!
Note: Since all battle pet quests are daily account shared quests, you can complete them on your 90, then get someone with a 2-seater to fly your 85 around and quickly hand in all the quests!

Pet battle dailies:
Daily: Grand Master Yon - Quest - World of Warcraft Gives 5 VP (8 with a capped char)
Daily: Grand Master Zusshi - Quest - World of Warcraft Gives 5 VP (8 with a capped char)
Daily: Grand Master Shu - Quest - World of Warcraft Gives 5 VP (8 with a capped char)
Daily: Grand Master Mo'ruk - Quest - World of Warcraft Gives 5 VP (8 with a capped char)
Daily: Grand Master Hyuna - Quest - World of Warcraft Gives 5 VP (8 with a capped char)
Daily: Grand Master Aki - Quest - World of Warcraft Gives 5 VP (8 with a capped char)
Daily: Grand Master Nishi - Quest - World of Warcraft Gives 5 VP (8 with a capped char)
Daily: Thundering Pandaren Spirit - Quest - World of Warcraft Gives 5 VP (8 with a capped char)
Daily: Whispering Pandaren Spirit - Quest - World of Warcraft Gives 5 VP (8 with a capped char)

Daily: Flying Tiger Gourami - Quest - World of Warcraft Gives 5 VP (8 with a capped char)
Daily: Mimic Octopus - Quest - World of Warcraft Gives 5 VP (8 with a capped char)
Daily: Spinefish Alpha - Quest - World of Warcraft Gives 5 VP (8 with a capped char)


So, in total:
When doing all daily pet battles you get 70 VP (112 VP with capped char) a day.
If DMF is up you can get 75 VP (120 VP) a day.
All fishing dailies will get you 15 VP (24 VP with a capped char) a day.
The weekly quest will get you 20 VP (30 VP with a capped char) a day.
And a one time only quest give you another 5 VP (8 VP with a capped char).

This means that if you do all the pet battle dailies for 7 days (without DMF or the one time only quest) and the weekly quest you can get 510 Valor Points, without even capping a char! And 510 Valor Points = 2 upgrades! So no more spending money or grinding fishing dailies in order to get the upgrade! Now we just need the resil to be fixed and 5.3 is fucking awesome! :D

I am currently looking for a guild to boost me in 2 raids. I can supply gold on either Stormscale or Argent Dawn. I need 9 bosses, since you get 40 Valor per boss + 20 Valor if you have a capped char, so 60 Valor per boss, 9x60=540 Valor= 2 upgrades. These raids would be on normal mode.
 
it seems you can get valor point by doing pet battle daily in pandaria...which means 14*5*1.5=105/day

does it work for 80s and 85s? I mean like in 5.2 only 90s can get the lesser charm of good fortune from winning pet battle...

anyway waiting for the maintaining done...
 
Double posting because I'm awesome.

I found out which battle pet quests will give you valor points! I tested it, and they all give valor points on lvl 85, you can even complete them on your 90, log into your 85 and then hand them in and get the Valor, since it's a daily account shared quest. Check the op for more info :D
 
mm cant find the battlepet daily quest whit the vp reward... can u link it?
 
Guys, the fastest way is to get a warlock friend and some 90 friends to summon you to Isle of Thunder, go around killing rares. Each rare is ~20 min respawn, 15 VP for each kill, and about 10 rares there.
 
Get a lock to summon you to the isle, I can confirm it works, got 1/2 upgrade last night. Should have it finished tonight :)
