Trial accounts get exactly what they have invested into the game.
The game is basically a free now with tokens. It all a matter of how much time you have to invest in the game. Some people(kids or unemployed) have time and no money and some people can just outright pay the whole 50 cents a day(think of it as a pack of gum). I choose to do the latter. For one main reason, I don't let WoW rule my life. I play strictly for enjoyment. I suggest others do the same or WoW will consume you.
