uh from a companies profits. you still make money by being the first person out with an idea. and its not like you cant make it hard to reverse engineer, or protect against industrial espionage, just b/c theres no patents. but the lead time you have on the market, and the hopefully superior quality of your product/brand will keep you selling the items before and after copycats come in.

No, you don't make money with being first out w/ the idea. 10 other companies will instantly just rip your idea off and you won't earn ****. So what you're saying is that you just cross your fingers and hope that your product will be the best out of maybe atleast 10 different? Hell no.

There's a difference between owning a patent, and owning an idea, although personally I do think the concept of ownership in of itself hopelessly narcissistic.
And in a world where people are reasonable, working for the same paycheck would still see people working, but people aren't reasonable. We never have been. Hell, if we were reasonable, there would be no self determinism. There would be no fun to life. People would probably just off themselves from the boredom. Life thrives on chaos.

hah 10 other companies dont just instanly have the same product. invest in preventing reverse engineering and preventing industiral espionage if youre that worried. it still takes time....you OWN the market when you're the first out with it, and you can keep that edge using what i said before or just using your product/brand name to your advantage - aka advertising. they can still make profit no problem
and getting private investors isnt that hard. there are tons of angel investors/capital investment groups out there. just find them and bring/pitch your product to them...in a capitalist society you'll find your worth.
and still people will be coming up with unique ideas and the like, you cant stop people coming up with new ideas lacking patents. you might stifle them, but you can never outright stop people from coming up with innovations since many of them are off the cuff, so to speak. it will just happen, pattent or not.

He's still for forfeiting women's rights to choice, he's still against separation of church and state, he's still a racist, bigotted, good for nothing Ol' Boy from the G.O.P., who's as half as looney as the rest of them.

I mean, I could understand killing fractional reserve banking, which makes sense becuase it's just retarded, but there will never be enough gold to accomodate for the rise in goods and services in order to keep even wage inflation.
