the point arkant is trying to make is you need mid control if both teams try to fast cap, fast cap only works when both teams have equal pressure in mid and can keep them there while your FC fast caps

controlling mid doesn't do anything if both teams get flag and the FC knows basic jumps in WSG and can exploint so that neither of the teams win

control only wins when both teams don't get flags

usually in pugs when someone takes the flag both teams tunnel the mid fight for control, I hardly ever die when crossing mid 'cause people are still fighting over mid and aren't getting the other flag

but yes I agree if both teams don't get flags controlling wins the game but if both teams do get it and the other team loses mid presence the losing team's FC can always play draw if he sees that his team isn't strong enough to hold 9vs10 which tbh shouldn't be impossible

Because they are doing almost as much damage with even less effort as they did in the Cata pre-patch. People seem to like that.
