State of the Twink - Post False Apocalypse.

there were two full teams who ignored us, even if half of you went offline there would still be plenty to play vs horde. if you guys didnt want to play us you could have said somthing instead of ignoring us and continuing to play vs each other.

Or you can stop qqing and add my btag so we can wargame
The horde this weekend. Darkxdpvp#1622

Hows that for peaceful protest?

you arent protesting anything unless theres some issue that youre trying to "peacefully protest" that you havent said anything about.

all you did was waste peoples time and its ridiculous to call it a "peaceful protest"

I had fun that night but I refuse to War Game with people if someone(s) is getting DDosd, also you can't War Game when your internet goes down every 10 minutes. If people were patient and waited their turn they would have gotten to play.

I respect and appreciate your dedication to the 19 bracket, Conq, but the 19 bracket is not in as bad of a state as you are implying. I also do not agree with your argument that the bracket does not need pugs.

FIrst of all, a decrease in activity is to be expected during the school year. This has always been, and will always, be the case. Also, it is not the fault of any individual players or the community that the bracket suddenly went inactive. There is currently a bug in the queue system that pretty much guarantees that no WSGs will pop until summer. Once summer comes around the bracket will begin to flourish again, as it always does. One thing I've learned about this bracket and its community (been playing 19s nonstop since '07) is that it manages to persevere through pretty much anything.

When it comes to pugs, we need them. The bracket has and always will depend on pug games to build and strengthen the community. If pugs cease to exist, players will go else where (exs: 29s/100s) to join a new community. Or like my guild and others plan on doing, we'll bring the community with us. Many of us (my guild, HB's, and other respectable twinks) already have plans to transition over to doing Hero RBGs after the Twink Cup this summer.

Aw that gives me the fuzzly wuzzlys, I share the same sentiment towards you of course, War Game Nights should be scheduled in some capacity. Pushing for pops is time consuming work, if we can't support the numbers because of the expected decline in activity due to school than should we rely on War Games to hold us over and prep us for the Twinkcup/summer?

If people want PuGs they want PuGs but unless our cruel overlords at blizzard intend do throw us a bone with veteran accounts than I doubt we'll see that kind of activity even when the Qs are fixed. We can't rely on that, War Games are reliable.

I've spoken out against F2P brackets in the past but even a lot of die hard 19s are playing 29s for twinking I hear, it's something i'm considering.

I enjoy wargames and rbgs however the 29 bracket is not an option for me it's 19s or 100s. Slaying ftps is not fun
