Hello everyone.

When I first purchased this site last January, there was a blogging staff already groomed and putting out content. Due to the way that I have driven this site, I am sorry to say that I lost focus and truly got away from what was important -- educating the twinking community and building a stronger twinking base.

So, TwinkInfo is going to try something new -- 'Sponsored Twinks'.

We are going to start out with 3-5 'Sponsored Twinks' and grow it from there if there is additional interest.

Information:

1. You will be responsible for a bi-monthly article (at least 500 words of your OWN content -- not copy and pasted from elsewhere) or a video that is at least 5 minutes in length.
2. The goals of these articles or videos should be to inform, educate, and/or build the twinking community.
3. You will have a subject that you will work specifically on so as to not overlap with existing ideas. If you want to write a new subject for an article or video, please let me know so that I can check to ensure no one else is working on it.

Requirements:

1. You must have been an active part of twinking community here on TwinkInfo.com for at least 6 months.
2. You must have a decent post history (at least over 50 posts that are of quality).
3. You must be in good standing on this site and not have any infractions that point to insulting other members or anything of that sort.

Perks:

1. You will receive a 'Sponsored' rank on TwinkInfo, which has all of the same perks as a 'Donator'.
2. You will receive a 30-day gamecard for each month that you are an active contributor. Please note that if you go MIA and do not provide notice, you will not be allowed to be sponsored again.

Hello Dear Shane (and everyone else),

I`d probably be interested to write an article or two from time to time (probably not that regularly, and not meeting your demand of two a month), however, neiter am I interested in the game cards, nor in the special title.
Also, I`m not quite yet at the half a year threshold, I used to have another TI account whose login info I`ve forgot, tho, so /shrug

I would be interested; I went to school for journalism, and have a degree just sitting around.

Problem is that I don't play a bracket other than 19s, and wouldn't really have anything of outstanding importance to the site to contribute ^-^

frankly i don't need game card or want them as i only play trial accounts. My druid is known and i head the BWL twink community and organize lots of premades.

as far as requirements I've been around . i don't think I've pissed off anyone too bad.

the subject material i would cover would probably be more math based and involve stat stacking and just number crunching in general. i did a guide for haste and its benefits here.

i would probably be doing that for multiple classes and spells for max average damage per rotation and single cast ect. and probably follow that form as well .
could also do math for ideal comps come WOD with the different hunter AOE perks and how stack teams for max DPS and what not. It would be a fun way for me to keep my math skills going over summer .

Is the traffic getting lesser to TI? do you get lesser account and what not sales through your links from illegal wow sites? I am just wondering what the interest behind this is because you don't give a crap about our community. You do not enducate anyone with illegal activities nor will a website host of your caliber be a strong community builder. Hillarious and sorry I had to say this and react.

There is a thread in the staff forum that has all of the applications on it. Once the staff have reviewed them in their entirety, then an announcement will be made for those people that got the rank.

Please enlighten me as to how WoW account sales are illegal? This website has had a WoW account sales forum from before I owned this website, so my tying in my own sales site with linkbacks has no hindrance on the site at all. Any individual that knows a thing about SEO will understand why I do this.

As for me not giving a crap about the community -- I don't twink, so why would I care? That being said, there are moderators on this site that do care and that is why they are in the position they are in. I fix the technical things when I have the time and try to put in new features or build on existing features.

As for the website host, I have not heard any complaints other than Bad Gateway Errors from time to time. There are several people that are having constant issues with that and I am still looking into that problem. Yes, there are so slow load times and every now and again, but I have not heard any issues since the site was moving over to a CDN a bit over a week ago.

All in all, I get you are frustrated. That being said, this website is still standing and you are still here actively posting.

Probably only acception unless you ask to be recieve an answer upon denial.

Keep in mind that Shane has also stated that we may expand the number of Sponsored Twinks later on. Even if you don't get the position this time, you might end up on the top of our "Who to pick next" list!
