i feel that way about the rare fish in the tourney...i think yesterday was my 10th one and not a single fish.

Imirak, did you loot at all? ...and if you did loot, did you get the Deckhands Shirt at all? I grinded for that, but never got it to drop.

I killed on that island about an hour a day over the weekend and got to friendly with ratchet and almost friendly with the others.

And finally the Savory Deviate Delight recipe dropped for me.

I did get a ton of lucky charms though.

i'm wondering why you took 3 of the 4 factions to Exalted...is it because the level 25 mobs for Ratchet (which is what you're missing) don't give Booty Bay rep so you had to grind them anyway? ...or am I missing something?

Well, it all started as a quick way to get Grisly Trophies and Charms but, as the kill count kept going up, the reputation gains were worth it.

But yes, if the intent were to grind out all 4 factions, you would have to separately grind two sets of mobs from Revered to Exalted. The first would give you 3 Exalted factions, and the second would give you the 4th.

Order woudn't really matter.

Speaking of food, those pirates sure had a weird diet... cheese, milk and rum. THAT'S IT.
