EU+US some odd stuff i found out in current patch

I don't know if ya'll found out or know about these changes, but i'll just post these things that I found about a little earlier.

I got a random tabard that apparently rewarded me with getting 25 tabards on my characters account wide (weird part was that it counted both horde and alliance tabors but I don't own all of them on one faction).

Wow like you literally can't sell anything, it just says "you have reached gold limit". We have to manually delete items... Hope this doesn't stay.
Well you can, but it can't be greater than 10g. But ya, it'll be fun just looting those blingtron/arcology items if this stays around and yet we can't do anything with them. Rip my "chest of tiny glass animals" worth 100g.

I literally can not sell to the vendor. So you are saying if you above gold cap or the item you are selling would put you above gold cap (even though we never got that amount) we can't sell?

You can sell anything so long as what u sell doesn't cause u to go over 10g. Only way I've found so far to hit 10g is to get close then do a bg or dungeon and the gold u are awarded after it will take u to the cap. Usually it wouldn't bother me to bad but my favourite illusion costs 10g and it's a pain trying to get the 10g. I have heaps of thread to sell in my bank but still doesn't help - lol. Hope it's just a temp bug.

Edit : actually I haven't checked looting gold / silver from mobs if that will take u to 10g. I'll check it out when I'm next on.

Lmao doesn't blizzard have better things to do than making these mostly worthless changes

hmm if they changed this for starters, could they have changed other things too? e.g. xp locked cant join bgs. im not on atm, cant test

It seems that a bunch of weapons with chance on hit abilities got insanely buffed... Searing Blade for example does 303 damage followed up by another 302 damage over 6 seconds.. This is just one example. Items from Ulduman (look at that damn gun's proc!!!) , sunken temple, etc... It's utterly insane.

I saw some changes in the patch notes about the tabard collection. I got the 25tabards achievement aswell today with the patch. :)
So that was probably intended!

Has the proc rate changed? Those weapons used to have like a 3 - 5% proc rate. Might be worth getting them check out if they proc more frequently.

Did you win the Frostscythe in the most recent event? I haven't picked it up for a few years now and I still don't have access to it. Shows up as red on mine. :(

Rogues got a serious nerf. Where once they were garbage now they are trash.

I don't know but the point is they went from weak procs to really powerful. However not all weapons got this treatment. I think they're bugged but who knows.

yep, I've gotten the scythe this midsummer event. probably gonna guess ya need to use the scan/repair tool to use it.

now that I'm awake, I can actually look at my characters for the above gold limit and apparently I can't sell them items now.

I have a http://www.wowhead.com/item=12992/searing-blade on my Warrior and noticed it did get a big buff to the proc damage. I'll try run some tests on it in the near future to see how it fares vs the Loom and bg blue swords / axes.
I did run some tests post 7.3 on my F2P Rogue with a http://www.wowhead.com/item=6220/meteor-shard. I was running the Stockades and found it has roughly a 5% proc rate and hits harder than what Wowhead shows on the tooltip. I did several tests, below is what I screenshotted just before entering a bg. It shows the actual damage and % of total damage.

Sounds like Ele Force when it procs ;) The closest a F2P will get to it anyhow :p
As you noted it seems some of these proc weapons received a slight buff where as the others stayed the same. Not sure if it's a bug or intended, who knows with Blizz these days! http://www.wowhead.com/item=12992/searing-blade does seem to have received the largest buff.

Just as a follow up to this if anyone is interested. Ran some tests on http://www.wowhead.com/item=12992/searing-blade as Arms Spec. Ran a certain section of Stockades over and over with different weapons as a comparison. With no chants on the weapons and no buffs, http://www.wowhead.com/item=12992/searing-blade did about 10 - 20 less dps overall in comparison with the Loom Sword. The Fireball also was hitting for average 150 with ticks of around 55 against the 23 & 24 dungeon mobs.
Overall the Fireball and the tick did 1.5% total damage.......
I think it's time to put the http://www.wowhead.com/item=12992/searing-blade back into Void Storage......;)
