Besides the counter spell - mages can also spam polymorph - I remember when Polymorph used to ACTUALLY HEAL you while in sheep form - now the heal is pitiful and it is just another amazing spell interupt/cc

And your class can heal, kick, purge, dispel, has a dot and a travel form. Hello?

And I ran this bracket back in the day - I'm not some newfag - the current balance is laughable compared to when I used to beat Thunderstruk/Xkisses/Dirtyauction in duels way back when.
Anyone who says balance now compared to then is better is pretty laughable. I was in hundreds of 10v10 high profile premades.

SHAMANS NEED MORE UTILITY you have stacked classes like shadow priests, holy pallies, and warlocks running the bracket and honestly its bullshit. what needs to happen is they need to give shamans some way to clean damage over time spells or some kind of ability that makes a 15 minute trinket CD useless. IDK ANYTHING ANYTHING THAT MAKES THEM UNIQUE AND ACTUALLY PLAYABLE.

Balance is not better now. It takes time but once you get used to it it is okay. Healers heal now at 19 not nearly as much dps. Shaman are more utility than anything man. Is just the way it is. Of course things were more balanced when we had 15 abilities vs 4 and there was such a thing as playstyle but that is when blizzard gave a fuck. It is balanced enough to be playable and we do in fact play it and make it happen despite [MENTION=6446]Mocha[/MENTION] lol and blizzards best efforts to indirectly shut us down. Get used to the new meta and I think you'll find it most enjoyable.
