Games could still be good. What we've been doing lately is queuing different 5man groups on EU and intentionally sniping each others groups, making great games. At times, you get almost full team of twinks vs full team of twinks because you pick up the twinks that are solo queuing as well in between.
I guess you could try the same on US. Even with the people that quit, you must surely still have some aspiring players to make the games interesting. I'm sure not everyone quit ether(?). As long as you get close games with even sides, I don't see why a game can't be competitive due to who quit and whatnot.
The solo queue times with 9/10 good games are over. We have to make our own games. We choose how competitive we want the pug scene to be. Go, go, go!
I also believe there is still ongoing planning for the next Twink Cup? Maybe a bit early, but maybe people could look towards that as motivation for playing. If anything, you (the players) decide at the end of the day how you want your games to be.
