So, do you think we can discuss the different specs already?

I agree, I figured this was implied though. Hunters are a nuisance regardless of skill level and have a high floor as you mention. All I’m saying is that you very rarely see hunters play at peak performance like some other classes.

No, I mention the floor is low, the ceiling is high.

A skill FLOOR is the idea of what is required at a bare minimum in order to be positively contributing.
A skill CEILING is the max potential that the class is able to offer.

The FLOOR is LOW, because the class is EASY to play.
The CEILING is high because the class is HARD to master.

The two are not the same thing.

Some classes have a high skill floor, meaning it requires a lot more from the player right out of the gate as opposed to a hunter, but their skill ceiling might be capped lower, meaning they are hard to play, but once you get the idea of the class, the ceiling isn't that high, simply because of toolkit limitations or scaling or whatever.

Take boomkin as well for instance. In the past; super easy to play.
Your mid pressure was insane, even if you just closed your eyes and tab dot or press surge twice every few seconds. You weren't easily punished for over-extending because of Bear Form, you had heals for self-sustain, meaning you could easily take pretty much any 1v1 and come out on top. Even more-so when you could moonfire in bear back in the day.

However, boomkin was also hard to master, because you were literally a swiss army knife. Godtier mid, off-heals, stealth, FC, O, D, Escort, everything, literally. This also meant that the gap between those who could properly fill the shoes vs those who only knew how to press surge in mid was enormous.

So again, low skill floor, high skill ceiling.
