EU+US Slow hitting daggers

So ive noticed everyone is running a slow hitting dagger in their main hand for mutilate but what about a slow hitting dagger also in the offhand? wouldnt it give bigger offhand hits for mutilate? Its not like you need a fast hitting offhand anymore to apply crip poison because our ranged attack applies it for us instantly.

Logically, you are correct and it should. However, (at least, the last time I had checked/heard) the MH weapon's speed is transferred to the OH weapon for reasons unknown. So the main idea is to have a slow MH and a high ilevel OH.

Whether or not that is still the case, I am not sure. I also did not do rigorous testing, I only took what I saw from character stat sheet viewed via addon and the ability tooltip calculations (which aren't always the best to go off of).

ive also herd you can just buy 2x of the legion swords and the ilvl transfers to the weapon slots.

The speed of your off-hand doesn't effect the damage of mutilate. You should always go for the fastest speed and highest ilevel to take advantage of more deadly poison and crippling poison procs.

http://www.wowhead.com/item=2209/kris for 19/20 or http://www.wowhead.com/item=22984/dawnblade if you want to be able to mog your dagger.
http://www.wowhead.com/item=2088/long-crawler-limb for 10.

Sure, the warforged daggers are 10 ilevels higher, but if they don't put you over the threshold to get extra stats, then they are a 1.8 speed dagger that don't provide extra stats, so you may as well go with the lower ilevel high speed weapon.

There are 2.5 and 2.6 speed white daggers available to Horde. One just outside Org and one outside Silvermoon.
They make a big difference on your damage. Much more than iLevel.

@Yapah is correct and jagged wing slasher is available to Alliance as well I'm pretty sure. Also it shows as a sword reward but is actually a dagger, or something werid like that. Make sure your spec is assassination when you do the quest.
