SL gem stacking

Hey so trying to figure out these two gems Health regen gem and Speed gem on my 30

I've made sure I haven't stacked multiple of the same gem type in each gear piece that has slots but regen wont go over 1366 and speed at 28%
I have 17 shadowlands gems socketed outside the two mentioned above so should be higher regen and speed.
couldn't find anything through google so wandering if there's a cap or diminishing returns somewhere?

I saw it mentioned that mastery can help with speed on a demon hunter but going from 15% to 21% mastery didn't change anything

As a 20 I can’t stack that many gems. But it might be a possibility that there’s a hidden cap as to how many SL gems can be stacked

I do know that the more hp regen you stack, the less effective hp you get
for example the first 3 gems for regen gave me 133 hp / 10s each. After 3 it went down to like 100 hp / 10s. So it’s possible that it might just cut off after a bit

Also depending on other +speed tertiary gear you have you might be hitting a speed cap as well.

Maybe others have more knowledge on how 12+ SL gems function. I think 12 slots is the cap for a perfect rerolled 20.

ooh i didnt think about it like that, i heard for 6 its 133 for initial gem and then 100 for each gem after so maybe it drops again at another threshold

The HP gems are twice 133hp10 and every gem after gives a flat 100. Movement speed from +Speed seems to be capped at 50%. My 30 warrior currently is one off the max possible gem slots (if it weren't for the FUCKING HELMET NOT DROPPING IN MONTHS OF WEEKLY ICC RUNS, sorry a bit frustrated here) with two twohanders giving 44,~% movement speed and 2566hp10. This does line up perfectly with the gems. My only guess is you socketed a non-SL gem or have multiple of the same on one piece.
I can state this as fact as I have played that warrior about an hour ago, so it does work as it has so far.

The speed cap is only for speed increase via the tertiary stat. Abilities and passives stack ontop of it (my hunter can outrun ground mounts!). Maybe you can push beyond 150% movement speed, but I'd need a WoD WF epic neck or ring with +speed to test that. Or have Landsoul's Horned Helmet drop. Fuck that helmet and fuck the blood princes. Maybe next week.

Edit: To clarify. Movement speed from gems is 44,90% from 152 speed stat via the gems and I get another 5% from the Fast Footwork talent, that's why I said 150%. With one gem slot missing it would be 159 speed so maybe 1% more.

Edit2: Just checked again. 25 gems socketed including the doublets, giving 2566hp10.

So i triple checked but the three gems im using are versatile, masterful and deadly jewel cluster, all shadowlands gems and no gear has two or more of one type.
Does gear matter at all in this situation? Im not in all 115 gear, sitting at 108 ilvl atm

so not sure what changed but now getting 1966 regen and 36% move speed which is more inline with gems i have. guessing just bugged a little

Still odd. I get the bonuses including the two doublets, while you are apparently missing the bonus from those. This is my main for comparison.

On a sidenote: Get Gale Force for your offhand. I am 90% sure Force Multiplier does not stack.

Awesome toon, thanks for the tip for enchants, will get them changed, usually tank so run naga hide.
Got some sholders from ulduar today, nothing fancy but give an extra slot so at 2066 regen now, hopefully next week il get lucky at icc
