Bought first shadowfang for 50 USD including the xfer then 2nd one i purchased 20k gold which was around 23 dollars atm and got it from my friend on Elune. Not to bad i would say!

I lol'd. Skill has nothing to do with BiS gear, Bis gear just shows pride in the twink that one has created, and also adds a small advantage to the playing field, which is what twinking is all about, obtaining the BEST gear, enchants, etc. Anyone who says otherwise is lost imo.



The 19 bracket isnt like lvl 85. The gear isnt outdated every few months or less, shadowfang has been best in slot always for a 19 rogue, why wouldnt one want to buy a couple of shadowfangs? There is a very little chance they will be replaced with something better, and if they ever are it will be years from now if a better item is added to the game, which I dont think will happen.

I think it is true, alot of players judge others by the fact of if they have bis or not gear, and tbh there prolly is a few decent players out there who dont have best in slot gear. But when push comes to shove if those players go up against the ones with bis gear, and equal skill, the small advantages that best in slot gear provide are well worth the cost if it could mean winning the match.

Shadowfangs are sexy as hell. Even besides that, they are the only swords you can dual wield (that are actually good) because the BoA sword is MH, the BoA mace is a mace, and the PvP sword sucks for rogues.

Battleworn Thrashblade is decent for rogues (especially combat)
