Hey, guys! I'm recently getting back into twinking after stopping in mop, and I'm seeing what your guys thoughts are on shadowpriests in the 29 bracket. I was considering 39, and 49, but shadow priest seems to have a great amount of utility at 29, so I might just go for it here!
 
geared shadow priest can shine if u go 1on1 and the fight lasts a lil more (10-20 secs), take down any class maybe except resto sham . AoE and burst fights the other classes are doin better

Cool, awesome! Thanks man! I know spriest has little aoe at this level, but I guess in a big fight I'd just focus the healer anyway, thanks man!

Hell yeah, man! I believe I will do well with spriest, I'm a fairly decent caster, and not every class has an interrupt which is also a huge advantage!
 
They can do a fuck ton of damage and give great offhealing with bubbles.

They really shine in team fights more than 1v1s.
 
Can’t personally speak to how Shadow Priest plays, but I can personally speak to the fact that I did six random BGs last night and all six games had at least one faction with five or more Arcane Mages on their team.

I guess what I’m saying is roll shadow Priest, because it’s not Arcane Mage.
 
I play it at 19, they do just fine. Spread sw;pain, mb on cd and mind flay fc's

And how would you rank the cancer that is full-Versatility Fury Warrior or Arcane Mages?

Swear to god I let a friend that was over for beers a week ago do an EoTS on my Alliance Arcane Mage... mind you, he’s never played a video game in his life, much less World of Warcraft. I had to show him you put your hands on W, A, and D (unbind S from movement because I don’t suck... you should do the same). Told him to only only bother pressing one number the whole time to cast spells, except when the ( ) on the screen lights up, then press this other number. Click on guys whose health bars you can see above their character. That’s it... so he could (barely) move effectively and literally only pressed two abilities the entire game.

He went 18-3 and came in 2nd in damage. He found out on his own probably 3/4 of the way through the match that right-clicking actually does something. Amazing.

And yes, I told him he sucks when the BG was over, don’t worry.
 
i play a spriest at 29, it's actually one of the strongest classes in this bracket imo. You can absolutely melt the other team as long as you aren't being focused, we have decent survivability with VE and disperse, plus shield. I find it best to stack as much int as possible (though i do have multiple different sets that i use and switch around) as it not only increases your dmg, but also increases the size of your shields which is great, and vers is obv second best. In short, i would absolutely recommend playing shadow at 29, it's great.
 
I have yet to meet a SP that did much of any dmg. All my toons ignore them and go after others until that's the last one left. A while back mine was getting 3k Mind Blasts. But now they don't seem to do much of anything.
 
It's just like any other caster at the 29s, you want the big boy numbers you just int/ light verse glass cannon out and hope nobody is smart enough to kick your face in. You won't have druid mobility or the crutch-belt&boots so its just easier for a melee to get on your dome & melt you (and no scream does not always save you). Also just hope your team is not splitting the dps with you unfairly, aka your team has more real dps like Booms or MMs... the more there are the crappier you will do. Not sure why this equation is so hard to grasp for people either.

Elemental force nerf also hurts since a huge chunk-o-damage for shadow is force-crutch.

*** Good furywarriors always have heals, so calling them kitable ... ever... is like saying you are going to go ride your bike with no wheels... not happening. A geared fury is the most reliable target to focus healing on because the are busted and always infront of you as a healer, not bunny hoping around in the back like a boomkin piloted by some handi-andi.

I main spriest at 29, class is busted
Looking for a caster that destroys rogues and can pull off a really good fight against a fury warrior and even dominate them if you are skilled, thats the class for you, I run a haste/vers 13/19, 2,5k hp and 267 int. Bubble spamming against classes like boomkins and arcane is just beautiful, avoid running into a shadow mend spam and try to utilize the burst healing that VE can give you, providing you a versatile defensive cooldown. With the right gear and s good player in hand, you will dominate most pugs and be really good in 1v1 if you are ever into them. IMO, the class is underrated and i am pretty sure it outclasses boomkins except in them mobility department unfortunately (spred pressure dispells from VT is really good)
