A bit information what we're about:

We are a US raiding guild

<Screams of the Past> was founded in late '08 with barely enough to be considered a 25M Raid. Today, we are averaging about 30 players per raid. While others found interest in achieving Hardmodes in ICC and in Cata, we found interest somewhere else. Nerfs, talent changes, and different abilities have significantly effected of how raids use to be. But are still promising and are still found enjoyable by many SotP players today.

What we're looking for:

Even though we have everything on Farm, raiders are still expected to keep an above average attendance (80%). We do know that are some days where you will not be able to attend a raid, and thats only natural, you will be allowed to take days off if necessary.

We really aren't too 'hardcore' with raiding mostly because everything is on farm but still expect our applicants to perform at their best with whichever encounter we may be on. Just because we're flying through a raid doesn't mean its time to slack just about time we're on Huhu or Twins.

Is it ok if I come to a couple of the raids cross server before transferring?

Screams is now running 2 BWL and 2 MCs per week, and are almost to the point of running a 2nd AQ40. Here's our current class needs:

Druid - medium
Hunter - high
Mage - medium
Paladin - low
Priest - high
Rogue - medium
Shaman - high
Warlock - low
Warrior - very low

Also, I regret to inform potential applicants that due to Cata stupidity we will no longer be bringing non-guildmates along on our raids.

The reason why is because we took along a paladin cross server before. However we did not finish all of Aq40, we stopped at twin emps. Unknown to us the paladin we took along decided to get 85s and pug him the rest of it. The entire Screams guild was locked to that raid as well, so we got saved after he downed cthun. Since then we have not allowed any cross server players.

The bad thing is that it's likely that the paladin didn't even know. For some fucktarded reason when Blizzard changed the raid lockout system so that toons could start a raid with one group and finish with another without messing with the first group's raid progress they didn't apply that system to vanilla raids. And if you don't ever do vanilla raids you won't know about the difference because Blizzard of course neglected to tell the players about it.

I am interested in raiding the classics again and was wondering what your recruiting priorities are currently. I killed c'thun/patchwerk in vanilla on my rogue so would probably be looking to play a different class. It's a bummer you don't do cross-server as I could play my rogue until I could get another class to 60.

Side note, do you guys do any BC raiding or is the activity in that bracket to low? Have you guys ever considered letting monks participate? Obviously they don't have set items but I'm sure they could build one from offset peices. I won't even ask about DKs

We do not allow monks, and we never allow them. We also do have a sister guild called Merely a setback, which is also located on Draka. They do level 70 content with very similar rules.

I would suggest trying a private server like emerald dream. SCreams does it the best when it comes to trying to keep everything as legit as possible to classic. But retail has changed SO much its impossible. PLus PvP queue's never pop for the 60 bracket. its a damn shame.
