Satchels nerfed

Um I mean you could but I dont think you get all the other gear. atm I think its just cape and belt.

It drops most of the things it will during pre-patch. Some things opened now will stay ilvl 25 as opposed to be ilvl 23 come patch.

It can currently drop cloaks, belts, rings, shoulders bracers, gloves, necks, boots. Not sure if that is everything.

I think only cloaks/belt stay 25. I think for most everything else it doesn't matter. The stats appear to be rerolling too.

Ok good to know I guess I will just wait still thanks for that now I can focus on getting other stuff done in pre patch! <3

The same people crying about not being able to get ilvl 55 items on a 19 satchel, calling out 'rat', etc, are the same dogshits that wanted Entis sword kept a secret for their 'uber-skill' warriors, imo. Bad players trying to compensate for their shit play by having 'secret' advantages over other tinks.

Except the satchel gear wasn't class-specific. Everyone could benefit from it. So the only ones being at a disadvantage would be those who either didn't do their homework, or didn't want to put in the effort.

Not all classes use 2-handers, but all classes use the pieces from the satchel.

Sharing the information isn't the issue, so the "keeping it secret" part is for another reason entirely. As you undoubtedly saw what happened as a consequence upon sharing the information (it getting reported), I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to understand.
The problem occurs when the shared information gets reported. Upon sharing the information with a lot of people, you drastically increase the chance of something getting reported. Especially if it's something that's obviously unintended, such as the satchel items.
That is why some people would have preferred for it to be "kept a secret", and not for the sake of not just wanting to share.

In a perfect world, we would be able to share anything among twinks without having to worry about other individuals reporting. And trust me, one does not need a PHD in psychology to wonder if the people reporting are simply people who can't / won't put in the effort required to benefit from the discoveries. We're all twinks at heart and want our character's to matter, so what do you do if you believe that you can't jump on the wagon and get the items that makes you feel like your twinks matter? Easy, you make it so that every other twink "won't matter" as well by reporting it.

Not a big deal, just funny that those too lazy to farm have to go complain to blizz.

Not necessarily lazy my friend. Just don’t have time.

It is funny isn’t it?
Might even be the very same people that complain about people using consumables I reckon. Kek...

Why is it that younger people are so f-ing stupid that they support things like not letting people voice their opinion both here and in their socialist politics? Are they literally too stupid to understand what the alternative is or did their parents allow them to be indoctrinated?

As a member of the so called community I personally don’t care what you think is best for me and neither does anyone else. Grow some balls and learn to listen to opinions that aren’t your own - or ignore them, but don’t silence them.

Why is it that threads like this constantly remain opened? I'm sure it's great for the community to derail threads and constantly go at each others' throats while posting the same information over and over again about peoples' conflicting point of views.

What a wild concept it is, that someone may not agree with your opinion, no matter how much you put your point out there.

You answered your own question with the last two words in your first question my friend.

Don't think you have any idea how many of us has reported both the satchel bug and the engineering one and still farmed a couple 100satchels incase it wouldn't get fixed. Yet we still wanted it to get fixed, just some of us rather want to play decently fun bgs rather than a big cluster fuck with 20 exploding sheep's oneshotting everything.... So don't bring your bullshit of not wanting to farm... I personally think it was the minority of the people reporting these exploits based on not wanting to farm shit em self...

Every very op item gets patched, this is no different, we only wanted it for a while to have some fun...

Easy, you make it so that every other twink "won't matter" as well by reporting it.

This is the root of the conflict that the twink community faces. Some of us want the community to grow, to involve more people, to make things more competitive, to increase the standards of gearing and play. Heck, this very site has an entire guide section for all kinds of information freely shared with everyone. I and other twinkers have a history of getting to-be-grandfathered gear/enchants/etc. specifically for the purpose of reporting it and getting problems fixed, because we've seen the positive impact doing so has on encouraging people to play.

Others want to keep secrets, most of which are to gain stats advantage. You're all for growing the community, as long as its not at the expense of your own advantage. When twinkers like these use the term "community", they mean "our exclusive clubhouse". To be sure, you work as hard as any twinker here, you do your research, you put in the grind. But you think this entitles you to beat up some sort of "underclass" of players, and then cry foul when other twinkers collaborate with Blizzard to make the game better.

Gear matters for more than just stats. When it's hard to gear for a bracket, twinkers respect each other more. You put in the grind, you show up with BiS, and even if you can't PvP, you showed some dedication. This is why ilvl templates may have made stat scaling more balanced, but taking a bunch of gear out of the equation reduced this "twink badge of honor" for a lot of players. Grandfathered gear is a great way to demonstrate longtime dedication. However, excess grandfathered gear discourages play in a given bracket -- no matter how hard you work, you'll never match your forebears.

If XPoff.com members want a public website dedicated to promoting twinking and not just act as a twink livejournal account of "look what I got past Blizzard har har har", then clubhouse twinkers need to take a hard look at their motivations. Banning longtime twinkers who have the guts to make a stand for better games and making straw man attacks about twinkers "too lazy to grind" accomplishes the opposite.

Ye cus old satchel gear got fixed? Oh wait...
Ye cus old proffesion into delevel bug got fixed? Oh wait
Ye cus old enchantment bug got fixed? Oh wait

Took years before goblin goggles got fixed as well..
Cba naming more shit

if blizzard wants to fix something, better it get fixed sooner rather than later. if blizzard doesnt want to fix something, no amount of reporting will make a difference

It did get fixed. People reported it and it got removed. Professions arent visible on inspect so thats harder to do ingame but the only people who still have old satchel gear are the people that did not use it.

Or people not playing during the probably 1 day to a week during which it is available.
