Satchel bug.

It appears that both posters claiming to have mastered the "art" of exploiting are coming off a little vague. So here's some things to think about. Is it possible to queue xserver? Lastly I think it's vital to have a full group of 5 people queuing. Meaning a full group of non randoms.

It works cross server, I have tried it myself and also it's more reliable with 5 people Qing. The first one we tried involved 2 level 70s setting up which only gave us lich king dungeons but we had 1 random with us and I still got the random reward (gold/jp) at the end so go figure.

Average wait of 2 days on that ticket, good ol' Blizz. That's pretty much why I reported it early though because it always takes them ages to get their shit together and then it gets to the point where you're just waiting for them to nerf/change stuff so you can get a "normal" match.

we've tried several attempts and are still trying to get it to work
 
It doesn't seem to work 100% of the time but once you have the pop the satchel is as good as yours and sadly there's not much other info to give because that really is all there is to it but again really simply it's:



2 people of the same dungeon level bracket - it was thought it had to be tank/healer but this is false it can be anything as long as the whole group is tank/healer/3 dps in the end



Those 2 people join the random Q THEN you invite the rest but you have to invite the rest BEFORE the dungeon pop that you would normally get for a legit group.



If all goes well when you invite the twink(s)/85(s) it will pop instantly. If it doesn't pop after say 10-20 seconds all leave the group and retry.



Once you get the pop everyone presses join, the 2 people who Q'd initially + any 85s will enter as normal and the twink(s) will just get an error saying they arn't high enough to enter. Then you just sit back and wait for the rest to clear the dungeon and everyone will get a satchel at the end as normal. Then leave group and repeat.

Iäm pretty sure this works on US aswell, 100% sure 85 boosting lowbies works there, and the 2 ppl that invs everyone nees to be sub 70 i think or? at 70 they can't que for random tbc dung o:? just hc?

Yeah this is correct, we tried it with 70s first and only got LK randoms which means no satchels. I think the highest you can be is 67-68 before it starts giving you LK dungeons.
 
hands + neck from 60-64, on the lowbies, and ring + shoulders from 65-69 on the lowbies :)

I can't get it to work. I have two lv55s a 85 and 19. The two 55s que but don't select roles then invite us.

If they do select roles, it kicks us out of que.

whats going on?



*edit* they are both selecting roles aswell as the 3 who join, do we need all roles filled?

Since it was a bug it's not 100% guaranteed to work every time, sometimes it took us a few tries to get the pop but generally not many. From the looks of it it's mainly the US having problems so maybe it's been previously fixed or something? I'm not sure exactly how old this glitch is.
