Rogue Weapons...

Not my favorite class, but I have one I'd like to kit-out & am not sure what to target?
Planning on going Sin or Sub. Outlaw is cool, but doesn't quite feel right.
Considering World Drop ilvl 84 greens ( crit/mast & full proc, obv. ) but what else might I consider?
Are there some readily-available blues out there that I might pursue?

what is the fetish with 84 greens, seen others press this as thing

BC gear has sockets at 84, TW chest rewards have 89 epics. TW dungeons 96 blues, TW vendors 86 blues and epics

World drop BoE's come with random stats, that's why.
If you farm enough you'll see some amazing pieces; some with unavailable stats.
It's not common, but full procs used to happen regularly enough that it was worth your time to farm em up, just tp get those impossible stat weights.

Elsewise, I was asking on particular weapons I should look for that Solid Rogues pursue.

Go outlaw or go home XD

Nah, my old twink has the cobweb machete i think it is, used to be good. Now, ill check if there is a bfa rare drop cause im not too familiar, but anything that can proc a socket would probably be bis. Everything else is just gonna be meh.

On the outlaw side, TW bladefist and maybe blackout trunch will be bis

No idea if it's good anymore, but you could always get lucky with https://www.wowhead.com/item=156998/cudgel-of-naralex

AS outlaw I would use a Blue quality or higher cudgel or for horde a moks as my MH weapon and a claw of the watcher for offhand.
Keep in mind as well for the ilvl 84 greens that mut rogues mastery doesnt include bleeds until like the lvl 40s and sub is energy starved badly at 20. For daggers you can grab warforged ones and the twing vendor ones are ilvl 96. Weapon damage is really good and an ilvl 96 will probably beat socket greens.

'nother question: Is Dodge totally useless, even if we can stack some of it?
As blood dk i seem to never dodge anything, even though i have like 15% dodge. As soon as i swap out of blood my dodge stat disappears but i still have the equipment that gives me dodge… might be a tank only thing besides abilities?

TW weps would be better than that by far, especially bladefist. Epics arent BIS anymore except rings that also proc socket, i think.
The unique thing about cudgel is the 3.60 attack speed. Like I said, not sure if it's still good, but the attack speed was why it used to be desirable

Correct. it is unique in this aspect & if you can manage to get one to proc epic it is invaluable.
The ratio of uptime on effects from that slow swing-speed is fantastic.

Aight! So... It looks like the ole tried-n-true TBC 1h's are going to perform best, even considering the potency of these TW 1h's.
There is no penalty for using maces & swords & such, instead of daggers? Is that only a thing at high levels,
or is it a vestigial 'RP' thing from the old game that no longer effects us in this era of WoW?

The key with pre-Skyriding/flying Outlaw was spec'ing the grappling hook mostly for PVE and some battlegrounds like AV, as you could climb and reach some harder to reach areas.

In a post-Skyriding/flying - Outlaw doesn't have to spec into Grappling Hook so can get into more of the DPS. Plus, Outlaw doesn't have to rely on the daggers for their key abilities.

I find Rogue <= level 20 with Vanish back (<= level 20) pretty useful. If Pickpocket or old school Lockpicking by skill versus by character level was back under <= level 20, Rogue would have more utility <= 20, again.
