Rogue Weapons...

Aight! So... It looks like the ole tried-n-true TBC 1h's are going to perform best, even considering the potency of these TW 1h's.
There is no penalty for using maces & swords & such, instead of daggers? Is that only a thing at high levels,
or is it a vestigial 'RP' thing from the old game that no longer effects us in this era of WoW?
Old wow i believe there was a speed difference between maces/swords/axes, and then daggers were a whole different game. But i think the OG rogue twinks used to run blackfang mh and shadowfang OH, and that was a blue-moon ago. Outlaw can still use daggers i think, but it is not preferred except for RP. Other specs need the daggers, which is CRINJ

Edit: currently i think the best weapons for 20 rogues are fist weapons, specifically watchers claw and TW bladefist off the top of my head. But the TW weps arent terrible, very good base to start with

Aie, maybe it's back to Outlaw... feels more like FrostDK than Rogue to me; but if that's the best way to go,
then I'll focus gear for both specs & go with either whatever feels better or best suits the occasion.

The dagger specs are pretty lacking rn tbh, terrible damage even kitted out. But i am holding out on mine in case any QoL stuff comes back (pick pocket mainly) and if some of the daggers inadvernetly get buffed thru spagehetti code

Edit: not too sure, but wanna say sometime around pandaria/wod one of the other rogue specs (sin/sub) was not restriced to daggers, then i think it was reverted. Assassination i am pretty sure it was, but think it is stuck to daggers.
