Has anyone done any testing on Shadowfang OH for rogue? I would love to discuss what people found here.

Honestly I think so too, but I have nothing to prove it. Faster OH is pretty much always better. 7 agi for crit rate for MH, and some dodge and defensive stats.
Overall damage, dual Shadowfang is probably better if you are going glass cannon though, and I want to find that out. I am going to do some testing eventually, just want to see what others have done because I'm not quite sure how I will test it.

For raw damage output, 2x Shadowfang w/2x Fiery is far and away the BiS. This was investigated the first time around - will go pull out the numbers and return.

I haven’t had a chance to play any battlegrounds yet on my 19 classic rogue in tbc . But in vanilla against anybody wearing mail fiery was awesome.

Before I can finish with the math I need to do more testing. Does the bonus shadow damage from Shadowfang due full damage from the off-hand? What is the proc chance for the extra shadowbolt?
After I finish that, I'll finalize what gear I'm using to base the math on (how much damage you do effects the percentage increase from more AP and how much raw damage each % of crit will add, and the more crit you have the less each percent is worth, since you can't crit when you already roll a crit).
I'm expecting to complete all the numbers in the next two weeks and then I'll present them here : )

I don't think faster off hand is better, unless you're talking about poison application, it's mainly about what extra damage the off hand brings to the table, and im sure the shadowfang's huge amount of damage is better than the agi on a weak weapon. That's just my two cents tho, and pennies are stupid.

The argument for a fast offhand only comes into play when fighting a caster or using poisons or when talented for your offhand to proc extra energy. Since this is 19, we only have the caster argument.
Faster offhand vs caster means you'll delay their casts more from hitting them faster, but lower dmg.
Two slow weapons really have no drawback at 19.
Sinister strike is instant obviously, and your offhand white hits will be bigger with a slower wep. You'll hit harder, but slower, meaning some fights will last an extra 3-4 seconds but with a bigger overkill at the end. Regardless, offhand dmg is reduced by 50% anyway.
Personally I run dual SF with lifestealing for my dodge/high hp build but ignore the small gains from another wep.
TLDR: The difference between SF offhand and any other offhand is very minimal and only the sweaty will notice small differences.
