Anyone have any insight as to why shadowpanther.net ranks the WSG sword above all else for 30-39 rogue MHs?



Been playing rogues in the 39s since BC but lately haven't been very up-to-date on mechanics and everything else...near as I can tell Mallet of Zul'farrak should still be the ideal MH, only advantage I can tell WSG sword has over that is .1 weapon speed...which doesn't seem very plausible as the reason either, given how poorly they rank Sword of Decay.



On a related note, was doing some target dummy ambush testing w/ sword of decay vs. scout's blade and the dagger was dealing ridiculously higher strikes than the sword. Where would one expect to see the advantages of Sword of Decay - white hits only?

Apparently speed of Mogoose proc. I have not done any testing but I would question the loss of stats and much lower white dps versus that slightly faster proc, it usually procs during an opener anyway.



I would like to see some solid comparisons done.
 
try asking him directly, he responded very nicely to a question i had once, and is always appreciative if you have genuine corrections to offer.



i don't envy maintaining that many lists of ever-changing info!
 
yes listen to this guy, he doesnt even play in the bracket but that shouldnt turn you away from taking his advice, even if MoZF is better than sword of decay in every way
 
having twinks and actually playing them are 2 diff things, chances are youve never stepped foot into xp off games at 29 or 39

to get back on track: Shadowpanther is terrible, the fact it has Evocators in the "19 dagger" section is enough to completely disregard the site.
 
All this bullshit flexing proves nothing. Let's see some ingame comparisons/maths on the subject as proof instead of conjecture.

Sword of Decay(MH) and Dazzling Longsword(OH). I've literally gotten 4-5 hits within 1.5 seconds when Mongoose procs.
