Rogue items in BFA

The following tests have been made on BFA beta, not PTR.

I know that @Purj made a compendium thread, but I'd like to make a class specific thread. My rogue is the character I care for the most, and I feel like I'd share some basic item information in case people are wondering what to get, and how the stats will look on different items etc.

One of the key things, is that certain items will be rerolled into other secondary stats, which means we will lose current affixes, such as "of agility", "of power" etc. This means that it will be wise to stock on some 23/24 ilvl greens in hope of getting the stats that you want. On rogue, you primarily want as high versatility as possible as your secondary stat + x on an item.

Professions:

You will now be able to scale engineering to a skill lvl of 300, which opens up to new gear pieces that I will cover later. Also note that every available head piece is cloth, and boots are cloth.

Invasion gear scaling:

-ilvl 35 invasion gear is now ilvl 30
-ilvl 29 invasion gear is now ilvl 27
-ilvl 24 invasion gear is now ilvl 23

That means, some old quest/BoE/BG items will be close, and better (depending on secondary stats), than the invasion gear.

*Use: Charge an enemy, knocking it silly for 30 seconds. Also knocks you down, stunning you for a short period of time. Any damage caused will revive the target. Chance to fizzle when used against targets over level 60. (20 minutes cooldown)

*Use: Absorbs 226 damage. Lasts 20 seconds. (15 minutes cooldown)

-Insignia of the Horde, 58 ilvl:
*Use: Removes all movement impairing effects which cause loss of control of your character (2 minutes cooldown)

-Gnomish Shrink Ray, 41 ilvl:
*Use: Shrinks the target reducing their attack power by 114. That's what it usually does anyway ..... (5 minutes cooldown)

Current shadowfangs obtained in Legion (ilvl 25) will become ilvl 23 on the PTR! The old Shadowfangs will remain at an ilvl of 24.

Note that you still cannot make use of the "use" effect of Furbolg's Medicine Pouch.

(3) set: +11 arcane resistance
(4) set: +0 haste -> most likely a bug
(5) set: +5 agility

Note that I included the new secondary stats (Aurora, Quickblade & Fireflash), but these aren't static. The rolls on the secondary stats are completely random, which is why I would recommend people to stock up on high item lvl greens, and make sure to have multiple blues that will reroll stats as well in order to get the stats that you desire.

If someone has ilvl 25 (23 on beta) Gloomshroud, and could provide the stats of that on beta, that'd be greatly appreciated as well.
just checked both -- sfang / gloom
(reason why agi value isn't highlighted: used in-game command to link those)

@Bestworld i already did. Level 19 versions go from 6/6 to 7/7 for both the belt and boots. MW and WW gloves add one stam/agi when scaled to 19.

Note that I included the new secondary stats (Aurora, Quickblade & Fireflash), but these aren't static. The rolls on the secondary stats are completely random, which is why I would recommend people to stock up on high item lvl greens, and make sure to have multiple blues that will reroll stats as well in order to get the stats that you desire.

Do we know if a rogue wears a cloth helm, can he mog cloth?

Yes you can wear cloth, but you still can't mog it. You can wear cloth on live atm too, it just doesn't add to your template, but template isn't implemented yet on beta, so you're not really punished for wearing engi cloth heads so to say.

Do we have any data on stat weights yet? How much verse/crit/haste is worth in agility?

I have second-hand information, but I'd like to wait to release until I've tested things myself, because I've received information before that turned out to be wrong xd
 
might seem like a dumb question, but why would you wear cloth on a leather class? Doesn't it have to be leather in order to grant stats in BGs/arena?
