I wonder if it was just those that were botting for gold or gear gain or if they also got the ones using advanced pvp combat routines, Ultimate Flag Assistant, Interupt addons, etc in BGs
 
Felt bad looking @ the screenshots of 100 glooms/sf/mt/etc by people who openly admitted they botted all that shit, when I ran it legit while hardly getting any loot :p Don't feel so bad anymore. Too bad though, hope you get back to playing soon! Try to appeal, I bet you could get the ban shortened by saying it was your brother that played your acc without permission or some shit...

Blizz got everyone using HB - from levelers to people using combat rotations and kick bots.
 
I don't know about most of you guys, but I've had Mocha since I was a kid. That toon alone has so much history behind it and honestly I would never put my account at risk. Call me a nerd or whatever... but my account that's stacked in legendaries, mounts, gfd twinks from forever ago... If I lost my main account I would never touch another video game again. I'm not trying to sound like a dick, I'm just thinking of how I'd feel if I ever lost my account... but...


Those who were banned for 6 months, you should consider yourselves lucky. Your main accounts could have been permanently gone. If you decide to bot once you return, despite what everyone says, there will still always be a chance that you will get caught again and this time your account will be permanently gone. If you're going to bot, make a new account and play through a vpn.... What would you need a bot on your main account for these days anyways? Botting hks at 100? Who gives a f*ck about having high hks? Honor gear grinding? Within about 10 hours of playing you can go from dinging 100 to being fully honor geared thanks to ashran + premade finder + gladiators sanctum. Botting lfr? Take 15 minutes and do it yourself or just skip the pve this xpac lol.


I know twinking is pretty easy these days, but my twinks all have their talbar mantle, red whelp gloves, really sticky glue, oldschool gfd gear with gfd enchants, gfd transmog on some, and I would not play another toon if the slate were to be wiped clean for my account.


People shouldn't be crying to blizzard asking to be unbanned... You knew you were severely breaking blizzards terms and people really got what they signed up for. "F*cking blizzard won't even let me bot and hack their game. This is bs! Screw you blizzard!"

altho i agree with what most of what mocha said , i think its a bit extreame to completely quit video games for good if you lost your main account, would be more of a good reason to start and tryout something new instead.

anyway, I generally have no pity for those pity who got banned this time around, think the general rule about botting is that you shouldnt be doing it on account your not willing to lose?

I'm actually glad all these people got hit with the ban wave. Now I don't have to hear them say "Just use honor buddy, dude." They're almost as annoying as the losers on facebook who constantly post CrossFit wall posts to make other people feel like shit. Well, who's laughing now? I know they're certainly not. Oh, well. Maybe they'll finally learn not to bot.
