RIFT as an alternative for F2P

Going to make my new toons on Shatterbone, and transfer my cleric there in another level or so. Do we have a guild going there?
 
As far as guilds i joined a random level 15 guild to use their guild perks :)
and i've been inviting people from TI that i've come across into the guild so that they can benefit from the guild perks.

also on a side note make sure to add each other ingame whenever you may come across each other :)
a good way to find other people from TI is to talk on the 1-29 chat :)


Edit: Hey yasueh perhaps you can create an account on shatterbone in order to set up US server guild.

Yeah shaur, you just quest and rift until 15, then you get dungeons, sort of a similar system to wow with a dungeon finder. you can also queue for pvp if you want, but im not sure how good the exp for it is.

haha same, the quests are a nice way to get some decent gear :)
also i'd recommend trying out the new fishing skill they added this last patch it's a nice change of pace ;p

also warfronts give a nice chunk of xp every victory ;)

i'll see if i have time to log on today, perhaps we can group up and do a small premade.
 
Trying it out atm, really hating the ui and animations/art. I don't feel like the gameplay is very good either, but I'll try it some more I guess.
 
SS from my first warfront, just before getting owned by this 19 twink. Must be twinked for dmg/heals. I've seen a few twinked to 3.1K+ hp already.

I've only encountered 1 other player from f2p wow so far as defiant. Where is everyone? Liking the people so far - while asking questions about mounts someone was generous and gave me some money for it. I was able to use the mailbox to pick it up. ;)

Still the jury is out until I pvp - nightmarish visions of 24-filled bgs abound in my head. And Wow does have a sense of humor and charm that is unique and perhaps not easily replaced.

On Steampike EU we have a guild <Allergic to Pandas>, which we've got to level 3 (for the guild perk that gives you a heal for 15% or your health over 10s, when you kill an enemy player), and we've also got our first guild bank tab, which I'm starting to fill up with consumables and enchants. F2Ps can both withdraw from and deposit to guild banks.

There's only 3 of us there at the moment, but we're all on pretty regularly.

The wiki at http://f2p-rift.wikispaces.com/ is starting to come together too.

Im a bit busy with irl stuff, but I try to drop by with Retq (warden cleric 20) and Jekq (rogue marksman 19atm).
My cleric needs to run iron tombs for gloves, stupid looting system does not allow clerics to need on cloth even when clothies have those gloves equipped...
 
Is this, like, still a thing? I'm seriously considering it after reading this, but if it has died already it won't be worth it for obvious reasons

if you play to normal times ( 2pm - 11pm) or weekend 10 am - 12pm you have short queue times, instant - 6minutes, and its awesome ;) you guys should just try it, its for free and defo no wasted time

im EU, US queue times are prolly even better
