Hey fellow restodruids

This is my druids gear atm Jicz @ Outland - Game Guide - World of Warcraft

I simply made this thread to get YOUR opinion about my gemming/enchants/amount of HP, spellpower and resilience etc.

If you want to make chardevs and/or link your restodruids armory, please do. I have been spending a lot of gold to regem/reenchant to get a good survivalset, but still enough mana to keep my allies up.

I will probably edit this post with other stuff later on, but I am a little bit tired atm, so ye! Share your opinions

I play with 620 resilience, 1350 sp, 16.5k hp with motw. Worked quite well in arena as I was almost never to kill target, (lol hunter), Use the same set in bgs.
I almost never go oom in arena unless the game is 5mins+ against a heavy damage setup like rmp etc.

got 48 spen so i can cover traps with faerie fire without 9/10 resisting, didnt get hit cap as i only need it for bash which aren't too gamebreaking as thugcleave
 
Damn, I can't keep up with the current druid fashion.

On a more serious note, there are so many viable ways you can go as a resto druid. I usually go with some more haste. Mainly because I only do BGs. I also have some hit and spell pene, but ain't really needed in BGs I'd say.
 
Well you have zero hit. Zilch, nada, nothing.

Whilst Shermaan says he only uses bash for hit, his Faerie Fire will also miss as well as worrying about resist. I suspect 49 spell pen is sufficient, although getting 70 would be ideal but probably not worth the gear juggle/loss of stats.

I ran zero hit for a while and in Bg's I got sick of missing roots and Faerie Fire. To me 4% was noticeable. Anything you do to close it down will of course help in this instance. Even if it is just changing glove enchant to 20 hit and foregoing 28 spell power. Also missing that final moonfire to help finish off a low opponent, etc...? Rare I know, but it all counts.

I worked out the overall best effective health for my druid with some long winded math and I came out at about 695 resilience as being optimal and going stamina from there. I suspect anything around this will be optimal. I run 816 with my funny resto setup and rogues can still kill me 100-0% through glyphed barkskin with almost 16k health if my trinket is on CD. (Based on BG's here I do not arena).

It is a shame your haste is not above 7.12% as you can get the extra tick of WG/Effloresence. You could throw in 10 haste via 1 of the gems but you will still only hit 7.10% according to chardev, so it probably is not worth it.

We're twins np. Back to gear; I use a more mana friendly build with around 640 resil but only 15k hp and mana with MOTW, with priest buff there's nothing to worry especially with the off heals my 3s comp provides :3 I like to make sure I have enough mana for going tree form and spamming that regrowth cuz It looks like I'm shouting hallelujah and I'm a happy tree :')
 
great input doobry, appreciate it. I always run with flask, and usually play with my man nigx, so I have 20.3k HP and 701 resilience (about 25k when I tank bads in bearform xdd)

AND YE, i usually only use bash while I'm garroted, and I have my own trick of getting behind the rogues so I have never missed/get dodged by a rogue for a long while

playing with protwarrior in 2s anyway, so stun is most likely on DR if i use bash xdd

and about the haste, I was thinking about using haste on cloak instead of spellpen to get the cap, but I turned that down, I am fine with 6%ish so I at least get one more lifebloom tick. and the wild growth is healing for shit on the last ticks anyway, so i dunno if one more would matter so much

about his name. who wouldn't lol at it, his character is black as well, we should tease him about that too

Ofcourse there is a reason, someone at 1k hp and swiftmend/ns on cd? cast regrowth
