Resistance Stacking Experimental Analysis: Is it viable at 70?

Yes thats what I am all on about, its not about having an unfair advantage just to win, its about having fun! :D And personally beeing invinsible dont seem so fun to me :D Thats just what im trying to say!

So the game ends with people always doing whats the most faceroll even if its legit or not, to get the rating that dont show anything at 70, well I guess it's true so :p

Why do people roll the most faceroll now? People tend to roll the best (explained above), no matter if it's faceroll or hard.

Also the bracket is for sure broken to a certain extent (every twink bracket is) and if you don't like this fact or if this reduces the fun greatly for you, you shouldn't be caring about it.

personally beeing invinsible dont seem so fun to me

Rouges are the invisible ones ;)

Dont ask me why people roll faceroll classes, maybe they have played that class for a long time, maybe they like the chills of outfotming people or (alot of people ive seen) whos rolling prot paladins to get an easy 2.2k. But that dont matter, you can outplay someone who is just playing faceroll classes, on the other hand you cant outplay a constant double resilience.

tl;dr of the whole thread: We found out that stacking res is worth it for some combos, 2 people hate because they find it OP, other people don't get their arguments.

But let me answer your post:
1. Prot paladin is definitely not a super hard specc to play, but since when is it faceroll?
2. Why shouldn't you be able to outplay res geared enemies? If one can outplay "faceroll classes"... It's not like 100% immunity against magical damage.

Well as a disc, got 40% resi, 30% dmg reduce when they get hit higher than 15%, if they then also get enough resistance to have about 40% dmg reduced from that + the fact that gear can resist, then youre gonna have a hard time getting that priest down. Just sayin'

But I honestly could not care less about what classes people play, what I really just wanted to point out was how stupid resistance is. ;)

I get your point, but I don't get why it would matter. It this was endgame and the res benefit would turn out to be that huge, THEN I'd agree it is a problem - Blizzard would probably see it that way, too. However, this is 70 and thus not made to be balanced at all. Whining about res having potential is like whining about some speccs not being viable.

I dont maintwink my mage, I just dislike seeing good magedisc teams loosing against random lowbies because of frost resistance gear, thats just it :D

You want to have fun in arenas
Imbalance is not fun for you
70 is imbalanced
90 is better balanced
The rest of the logic is up to you

Edit: Shit your doublepost was too quick :D I doubt these lowbies will use res gear, because they have probably not read this thread.

What is the difference between gemming and buying certain gear is that gemming won't resist a deep
What.

You realise gemming resistance will also give you a chance to completely resist any spell? It looks like you have no idea on what resistance actually does.
