Things that were OK to post prior to Conq's return were magically demonized and made ban worthy at a moments notice. If he had made a post saying he was back & that rules were under review until further notice would have been fine. But that's not what happened. Instead he made a post that pissed off a number of people and started making sweeping changes immediately. Are any of you really surprised that there was backlash? Please tell me you arent that short sighted.

I called Conq a cuck and was almost instantly banned/deleted. Do you agree with that? Is calling someone a cuck really worth deleting a 9+ year old account?

@Druiddroid I really have no issue with Celax other than the fact that he/she is a moderator that is OK with blindly following Conq's fairly ambiguous "rules". Much like Zeiren, I would have stepped down from the mod team if I still held the position.

What I rlly find shocking is the fact that there are so many people that are willing to moderate under these circumstances. How the fk did Conq manage to find the cariest of carebears I will never know.

Also: where is Benjamin hiding out? Dude made like 10 posts (at most) and turned this site on its head but has all but disappeared over the last week.

I don't watch anime or childrens TV shows so I might have a very different perception of throwing derogatory terms and attacking people but nevertheless.

censored the derogatory term that I recklessly used to attack a staff member but I'd like to use this anonymous platform to apologize for being a hateful bigot.
 
Conq himself has done his damage. From what Ive seen, there has been very little to no communication from conq since day 2 of his return. From this I cannot blame all staff members for just trying to follow his vague guidelines but i think every moderator needs to know there place. Toxicity is toxicity, when people are legitmately being a high risk user aka making @threads or constantly harrasing a user in every thread thats when they need to be banned. If you are upset you got a called a cuck or someone called you an idiot get off the internet if you cant handle it. Conq himself needs to come out and accept the constructive feedback we TRY to give him. He needs someone else there to tell him when he is in the wrong and that should be us, the users of the site. We cannot and should not ban users when they are trying to spark some conversation about current problems, or concerns with the website.

As Z said, conq has been unprofessional. He has focused on rediculous things that should not be the main concern of XPOFF at the current time. (Petty example: He made me delete my winking pepe Profile picture because it was "Unprofessional", but allows an Administator here to have anime thighs in his.

I don think conq has alot of time if he doesnt start explaining and working on something, or he needs to consider reselling this site. And fast.

I very much agree with a large direction of this sites changes, and am happy to be in a position to hopefully help with that.

It's my hope that things smooth out, and this site can thrive and also not have such issues with toxicity.

I think this kind of discussion, when kept respectful, is important.

At the end of the day, we all just want to have a community here of twinks and share what we know/play with fellow twinks/and have fun.

Having no written rules is worse than having overly oppressive rules.

If my account is at the whim of anyone based on whether or not they got their leg over with the Mrs / significant other then I'll probably move on.

Get some rules up pronto - Give people a written reason for a ban, hard to give them any evidence if their whole post history is deleted though. Doesn't have to be done on the site - each account has an email associated with it.

I try and behave reasonably most of the time on this site, but you if don't have a line drawn how the fk do you expect people to know when it's crossed.

Keep pointing people to the previous ( now hidden ) rules is plain stupid.

@Devm: not too concerned about the ban, esp now w guest/anon posting. The only annoying thing was dealing with the IP ban I got hit with.

Well how much would this site cost to buy? I am thinking about it. $669.69 is my first offer.
