I have no clue about the gear - But you could really use a transmog, especially if you are gonna use that glyph, that makes the transmog even more important. Oh well that might just be me. )

Your gear is fine, only thing I would change is the belt and neck, because I like more haste I would use vigorious belt of the vision and for neck temperature-sensing necklace.

What? I just said do not use Elemental force and use 16 spellpower on weapon instead. And vision belt over keller's for sure.

Yeah, exactly. Do not use spellpower on ur weap, use ele. It is way better on boomie. If you were to go resto then use spellpower but right now ur good.

99% sure this is an assumption that was made without proper testing. EF is worse if you keep good dot uptime and less reliable on burst. It has a capped PPM (Affected slightly by haste, not enough to make much difference though), as a boomkin if you multidot effectively then EF quickly runs out of procs and 16 flat spellpower overtakes.

Also wanna consider astral communion glyph. It helps you multidot quicker overall.

So ive been running the hell out of some randoms for my vigorous belt of the vision but i cant get a single belt to drop its all necks and gloves...am i too high at 29 to get a belt to drop from the satchel?

You need to queue with someone low enough lvl to have stockades as an option for the random to queue you. You won't get them to drop if you're playing solo. You have to group with a lvl 22(I think, don't quote me). Then the only dungeon you will get is stockades and the satchel will give belts / cloaks. The satchel reward is based on the dungeon you do, not the lvl of your char.
