From my testing, Arms is rage starved, with the way Warriors abilities work now you have to have rage to do steady damage after the patch, so Fury is still probably best spec to play. Wild swing reduces healing, so it's just as good as mortal strike. It almost does as much damage as Slam and you get to use it more frequently then Arms warriors get to use Slam.

But everyone's bubbled with pocket heals and the flag carrier can't be killed so it doesn't really matter what you do.

Further tests concluded that Arms + Warbringer is a more effective play style. Good way to finish off holy paladins and Druid FC's. It's like having a Hammer of Justice on a warrior if you were to trade 2 seconds of the stun for 40 seconds off your CD.

The problem with Physical damage classes in this bracket now is the fact that there's no spell mitigation other than Resilience whereas Physical damage is mitigated against Armor and Resilience. I conclude that it would be more effective to use PvP Honor Heirlooms on Physical Damage Classes to help mitigate magic damage received.

Guess I'm going to have to start playing my F2P warrior more, it's sounding like it is going to be much more enjoyable.

Actually it isn't because the only two abilities you can use after charge ( regardless if it's 1.5 sec stun or Warbringer's 3 sec ) are mortal and slam, due to rage starvation after those two abilites -makes no diff if you stun the target for aditional 1.5 sec .

And then only thing you can do is cry and jump around your target uselessly for the next 5 sec till the CD on mortal is over .

I've only tried Fury post patch and it's terrible. At first the charge (double time) was novel but that wore out quickly.

Blast it all to the Nine Hells....I decided to make a warrior because I like melee, rogues were OP and lost ShS. Not to mention my first toon from Vanilla was a rogue.

Now what? I've got a pocket healer (disco) who can also DPS while I provide control, so my question is.....Prot?

Actually what I've come to learn is that Warriors can't kill anything in this bracket and they're for utility right now. Your job is to live, interrupt/stun with charge, and apply healing debuffs and sunder armor to help kill paladins. I chose warbringer because I can stack sunder armor to 2 with the rage from charge and my initial white hit.

If you're playing Warrior to "kill things" and "gain rage" you're wasting your time and dragging your team down.

True and humiliating..............
