Questions & Answers

I know it's practically impossible for anyone to answer, but do you think minor wiz oil will ever be better than +3 int again?

If not, I won't bother stockpiling it anymore.

My druid has kept mining and enchanting as prof for about 8 months b/c of my insane fear of scarcity.

As you said, we obviously have no way of knowing whether they'll ever change Minor Wizard Oil again.

Regardless, you would be a lot better off with Alchemy + Herbalism for the +14 intellect you get from Elixir of Wisdom with the Mixology perk. When you start running low on your stockpiled Oils, you can always drop Herbalism temporarily (keeping Alchemy for any rare recipes you might have) and make some more - leveling Enchanting to 45 is pretty easy and Strange Dust isn't hard to come by.

Yeah, I know. And I've had 2 swift pot recipes in my bank for many months, in case I did drop alch after ussing one of 'em.

Everytime I think "hey, i should change profs", I go " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. ." then I go :<, then I don't do it

it doesn't buff you +7int anymore
just a measly +3int

First the food, then my booze. Then just recently, I found out about my precious elf crack, and now this!
Has blizzard gone all nanny state on us — stealth-nerfing my vices?

My priest cannot handle the pure, white-hot intensity of sobriety.

Can you press disengage mid-air and Turn your character or does it lock you Facing the way you pressed it?

Same for Goblin jump, can you turn Mid-air?

Cant test this, wont be on in awhile.

It's possible, for example you can jump off LM and then disengage back (nice juke)

Sorry Worded it wrong
I mean For-example, I disengage backwards, can I Turn(facing the way The disengage takes me) and Rocket jump to go further? Or it doesnt allow you to turn mid-air.

Another example, When you're chasing someone and you get into range with disengage, can you turn around And shoot before Landing or do you hit the ground then turn to shoot.

Can you turn After Disengaging(midair)
Vice versa for rocket jump

Yes, actually something that I've been practicing along with my backstrafing is running forward, jumping in the air, turning 180 degrees in mid-air, disengaging, turning back 180 degrees while flying from the disengage, and landing and continuing to run in the same direction.

My hunter is gobby but I haven't tested whether you can turn mid-air during a rocket jump. I would suspect yes, but the action and duration of rocket jump are much shorter compared with disengage, so I'm not sure it would do the same.

You can definitely shoot while in mid-air during a disengage. I haven't tested whether you can double-jump by rocket boosting during a disengage but I would suspect yes. I will report back when I've tested this further.

Edit: I just logged in and tried it, and it definitely works. I started running let's call it north, jumped in the air and turned south in mid-air, disengaged (northwards), turned back around to face north in mid-air, and rocket-jumped (northwards) for a double-jump. The timing is tricky but it's definitely doable.

Sorry for the time it took to respond, I didn't entirely understand the question at first, standard over thinking I imagined you meant some form of movement in a different direction while mid disengage or something crazy like that, which lead me to playing around with various things to try and accomplish that (you can..well sort of... but not really lol)

While this video is old, and I'm sure there are better more up to date ones out there the basics are still the same for someone new to the disengage jumping

Hunter Jump Disengage Tutorial - YouTube

Disengage is an important part of a hunters arsenal, play around with it a bunch and explore some of the possibilities, bare in mind even with its short cd there may be times that its better to hold off gaining an instant speed burst to have one in your back pocket just in case

The only thing rocket jump acts funny with is slowfall, otherwise it will act exactly how you imagine. If you have slowfall up and you rocket jump it will cancel your slow fall and make you unable to use a slowfall again for 15s.

Had a random hunt toon and practiced in the 19s with crouching tiger.Got plenty of cool disengage spots. Made a Goblin hunt to Fc,Aerie Peak here I come!

Thanks For the Input :D

Hello all! I'm new to F2P and have a question about a P2P account I had. I say 'had' because I un-subbed during WotLK. My question is: if I create a starter addition linked to this P2P (on the battle.net account website), would I be able to access some BOA mounts my P2P may have had. I don't plan on re-subbing my P2P as I'm free only on weekends. So please let me know.

Yes - if you were to create a Free to Play account using the same email address as your existing Pay to Play account, you would have access to mounts, companion pets, and titles from your old account.

There are some limitations in regards to this, but for the most part everything should transfer over quite nicely.

Thank you for the response! Just to clarify my P2P account is not active now. All BOA on that would still carry over?

Not sure how it might work now, but, I remember having to actually log in to each of my characters to get the companion pets, at least, to show up in the roster for all the characters on that account.

But even in this case, all you would have to do is accept the free 10-day game time that you inevitably have available to your P2P account, log in to it and log in to each of your old characters, and from then on you're certain to have all the toys from your P2P account.

Anyone know the location of savage roar sound file? is there anyway to make macro out of it and spam it?
