Question about the warcampaing azerite gear for lvl 119

Hey guys.


So, I'm not sure about this. How many of those rewards can you get at 119? And lastly, what does their item level depends on?

Asking because I'm trying to finish those on my shaman, but I dont want to mess that up, since so far there's only one option, when it comes to spirit wolf trait.

Last thing, is there any way to get into the other faction's dungeon before 120? If somebody helps you out maybe? Seems like it's a no, but maybe there's something i dont know.

you only get one azerite piece throu your first war campaign if i recall correctly. the ilvl depends on your progress with the other azerite pieces you collected throu quests already. For example:
you started your journey on voldun
got 1 and 2 azerite piece
then went over to zuldazar and completed the first azerite quest chain and jumped into warcampaign to get your 4th peace
every azerite gear you acquired up to this point will be ilvl 285 max
every piece after that will be 300 so to get 300 warcampaign instead of 285 you had to complete zuldazar 2 to get the 4th piece from thie quests so that the following war campaign would me ilvl 300 max gear

so first 4 azerite pieces are ilvl 285
every piece after that is ilvl 300

(the azerite piece from your HOA quest does not count towards this progression neither does the helm quests you get out of treasure chests, rare drops dont count and dungeon drops do not either)

i highly reccomend the 110 quickstart guide just read it you can get every information information oveover there

I think OP is asking about 119 tho =)

For 119 I have no clue how it works other than you don't want to do ANY quests until you hit 119. I think I've heard someone say that all the azerite quest gear will be 295 at that point - but I'm not sure.

If you are already at 119 with xp off, then I'd go ahead and do the quests up until you get to the first azerite piece. It should be 295. But if not, don't turn it in and do more research.

it works the same no matter your level, I levelled my DH through instances, islands and pvp, soon as I hit 119 I did every quest chain and got the same results as the 110 guide

No. All the azerite rare drops and dungeon drops go to 295 at level 117, the quest rewards work just like 110.

Worth mentioning, if you faction change, you get to do the war campaign again, so you can get 2 pvp pieces that way at 300 if you do them in the correct order (how the quickstart guide mentions)

Until this day I have finished only two areas of three ... i got 5x 285, 2x 300, 1x 305. I started questing after I was LvL 119. And do not forget ... in all dungeons one or two items iLvL 295 [rdy 300] are waiting for you and some rare opponents in the open world also give these items. In the end you will surely be able to choose between 2 to 4 pieces per slot, I think ...

I found this frustrating as hell at any point except the BFA dungeon bonus week where the last boss "drops and extra piece of loot".

Anyone know if that is every last boss, or the first of the day? Even then I got more pity azerite than drops...

edit- next BFA dungeon event is in two weeks, by the way.

I was about to maybe faction change to get another azerite piece with the ghost wolf trait. Finding somebody that accepts to run me should be easy enough, and a lot cheaper!

The ally 119 community did a lot of runs, if you're ally. The horde one apparently has gotten kick-started again.

I've been doing other things personally, but they seem pretty awesome so im sure they'd still be doing it.

Especially this week, being the extra last boss item bonus. 119 can group and trade drops they don't need.
