question about satchel loot

while recently gearing an up and coming paladin I have since ran MANY instances in hopes of getting the stam belt to drop but after 80+ satchels I have had no luck as of yet.



crappy RNG aside, does the role you play (healer/dps/tank) effect what you get out of the satchel in any way?



im starting to lose my mind... I farmed ambassador in 3 days yet I didn't get the belt to drop... anyone else had crappy luck like I see to be having?

Nah man, the role you initially pick has absolutely no contribution to what you receive in the satchel. For about 1 week straight I farmed for a bandit belt on my hunter, by the end of the week I finally managed to obtain the belt, after getting numerous Of The Eagle etc. ; /
 
Yeah doesn't really matter. Took me 80 runs to get my Bandit Cloak.

Class role hasn't seemed to affect what drops you get from satchel in the past, the countless Vision belts I have on my feral druid prove that =/ It's really all RNG, and if you're at the point where it's been 80+, all I can say is try and focus on some other piece of gear, then come back. So it doesn't seem to be quite a chore that it is. =)
 
The way that Blizzard has satchels set up is awful. They should give you a selection of gear to choose from each time you receive a satchel or make it so that certain pieces drop according to your role in the group.



I miss the old days of using a Rogue to Stealth through RFC for fast satchels. Along with inviting a level 15 to group so that you can only get RFC.
 
Tence, at least we were running the dungeons fast. I gave up on Defias leggings ever dropping, and the Tumultuous Cloak of Stamina is a fantasy as well.

I farmed the defias gloves and legs for my rogue on my main, took about 140ish runs I believe to get both. I farmed stockades about 230ish times now to get some items, feet of the lynx, perfect defender eagle gloves and eagle bracers. I can do it, it just takes so long...
 
cant speak for plumber. but yes its worth it. keep at it! maybe take a slight break and get another item. or achievment or just take a simple break. but then go back at it full force. goodluck getting your Belt
