Been looking for guides but can't seem to find anything apart from Talasites. Can someone point me in the right direction what ore I need to farm and what particular gem am I looking for so I can craft these? What level TBC jewelcrafting skill do I need? Do I also need exalted shattered sun reputation for the recipe? Thank you

If you can find dreadstone, then https://www.wowhead.com/item=40133/purified-dreadstone is basically the same thing. All you need to do is buy the recipe from the Wrath JC vendor for four jewelcrafter's tokens

Mag's Lair drops a bag that can contain them
Kill shit in Black Temple and Sunwell Plateau

If you have a higher level, just run the first area of sunwell up until the first boss (dont kill any bosses) then run out and reset the instance to reset the trash. This is how I'd farm all my gems. Super easy.

Like I said before I looked around for guides that help me farm Purified Shadowsong Amethyst not Steady Talasites, I did read that section because I don't like to waste peoples times. Thank you everyone for the advice

I have a hard time believing that you read both the baseline guide and the f2p JC guide and walked away thinking a TBC epic gem was something you could acquire as a F2P but hey, maybe it wasnt obvious enough.

So let me explain it: There are no guides for it because its not available to F2P. And if you arent a F2P, its as easy as buying the gems off the AH. Its not something that requires a guide.

What you will need to get the equivalent gem as a F2P is Northrend JC. That requires a pretty agonizing process of profession juggling that you should already be familiar with since you've read the F2P JC guide.
