Rofl, spew's gear is such a joke. Dreadmaul has WSG neck, and 5/5 of the monkey legs.

Alliance Chardev, scaled to 24 so you can see BG stats. chardev 10 - Mist of Pandaria - BETA

You're mean!
Even if you are right in some ways...
However, Spewfeel's gear is not a joke... his legs have more stamina and armor than Chars, also the shield etc etc.
Spew is geared to FC, not to shield slam like a little bitch.
If I remember correctly, OP asked for bis for FC....
Also, monkey legs have more armor also. He's stacking armor, refer to his bracers. /shrug his playstyle I guess.
Sorry but don't be so critical when you don't look into it.

Yes, he may have more armor and a few more stam, but it's simply not worth the loss in STR. Armor scales terribly once you hit the 2k mark, especially when you're scaled to 24 in WSG. Look at my warrior, for example. Even though I'm in DPS gear, I would have the same amount of armor in my FC set. A whopping 30 less. The dodge on the satchel cloaks is also not worth taking. I tried that in cata, wasn't worth it. Dodge took another nerf in 5.0, and even more so in 5.2 with BG scaling. Overall, I would give spewfeels gear a 5/10. Not even going to go into all the things that are wrong with it. Dreadmaul gets a 8/10. Needs JC neck, armor kits, and Foremans legs.

Here's my warrior in DPS gear. Too lazy to log on and swap atm Ÿala @ Aerie Peak - Community - World of Warcraft.

Oh and keep in mind STR gives parry. The 12 armor on Dreadmauls legs might be worth it if they were the +9 stamina ones, but they aren't.

Rhae got you silver linked btw so you may wanna check your p2p mb if you havent already :p

Check the feed, yo.

Dodge didnt take a hit in 5.2, secondary stats took a hit and dodge is a defensive stat.

Oh god Earl.....

Also Spewfeel obviously plays this game completely drunk or he just suffers from awful 24 syndrome. What's up with those armories?

My Prot

Always go stam heavy on him, and when I am fcing I change my shoulders to Strengthened Stockade Pauldrons and my weapon to Sharpened Scarlet Kris (debatable between the kris for fcing and The blessed Hammer of Grace, I like the Kris because of the stam).

Can also use Inherited Mark of Tyranny, but I only really use it in special casses (transporting the flag while having debuffs active and no healers present)... as I said in general I just like the stam better.

Can also use Inherited Insignia of the Horde/Alliance but I only use that when I am already in the FR with the flag, so if I get ccd while trying to cap or escape to the gy I can get away.

Hope that helped.

In Spewfeel's new video, Spewfeel claims that he is not BiS, but nearly BiS. He is aiming to replace the champion satchel gear with stamina as he had no luck getting them. He's aiming for a more of a mitigation set, which is hands down more viable than stamina stacking due to 24 rogues ambushing him for only 200-300.

He also has many gear sets for different situations as well.

Right now, he's at a 7/10, but once he reaches the gear goals he stated he wants to be at, he'll be at 11/10.

I mean you swoops. You. YOU.

No, just kidding. I mean people who try to correct me probably should read my post. I never said dodge took a direct hit in 5.2. I said scaling to 24s in BG's makes dodge scale worse.

So, how about you check your facts? With 33 dodge rating in my dodge set, this is the result.

Now, how about we enter a BG? I actually gain one more dodge rating from my BoA scaling to 24. However, I clearly lose a significant portion of the % dodge I gain per rating.

I mean I understand the concept of why you would do it... but what I dont understand is why you would do it considering the awful scaling... Earl is at about 26-27% avoidance... which is really good for a f2p dont get me wrong, but is it worth sacrificing the other stats of say stam... str, in my opinion no (that is if you are using your guy for 'practicle' things, if you want to just dodge stack hen that is cool); especially when someone who is competent will just try and go behind you if they are having their attacks dodged off.

Most people have more than just one gearset, a scenario where you are primarily facing physical damage dealers with limited stuns available, would probably warrant an avoidance gearset, for instance.

Also it's fun to show off I guess :p

I don't actually use the dodge gear in BGs, and I have the PvE tanking shoulders on for looks. I run resil in pvp of course. I was simply showing the dodge scaling to Goesid, for verification that it essentially did get a nerf in 5.2. In Cata, that toon had 2k health, 1k mana and a lot of avoidance. He's no longer BiS, due to the int changes, but it's still a fun gear set.
