Are Prot Warriors really that OP?

Obviously I am not perfectly skilled, but I hope this video gives an idea on whether prot warriors are really all that op or not... (So far the concensus is that they are indeed that OP) You make your own conclusion.

And yes I know I'm in the bad habit of not trinketing enough... I find that in duels, with such a long cooldown, it sometimes doesn't seem viable to trinket as having your trinket usable is such a rare thing (once every 5 mins) in bg's compared to how much cc there is. Once 5.3 comes out, hopefully trinkets will be 2min cooldowns then I will be trinket happy. Right now trinketing feels like I'm completely broke and I'm giving my last penny away.

But I hope you enjoy a few duels anyway.

Can't watch the video because I have to get ready for work, but if you're saying they aren't OP because you recorded some losses in duels, you're sadly mistaken. What makes prot warriors OP is the fact that you can take someone for 25% - 75% of their HP by hitting charge then shield slam. You literally did nothing and now your opponent has to pop everything they have in their spellbook because you used your shield slam....
 
- You lost to mages cause they blinked everytime you charged and you couldnt ss since didn't save charge for when blink was on cd.
- You lost to ele sham (almost all classes will)
- You lost to a Rsham and Dpriest (again most classes will)
- I know you already mentioned it but didn't see you use trinket on one snare or cc the whole vid.

This vid doesnt really change my view on wars at all. They are capable of much more things.

Definitely needed more trinket. Warrior can get under the blink cd with 2 of 3 talent choices. I was using nova/poly do hold during that cd difference, but only after I realized his charge cd was faster than blink cd. For frost, you can just use pet nova to hold during the cd difference. I didn't think it would be possible for a warrior to hit a frost mage so I went arcane.
 
thats a pile of BS..what you are saying you cant beat a healer? or hybrid like ele or prot or boomkin??...hello to dps world..NO1 can..ok maybe geard and skilled hunter.I dont get why you dont take doubletime.and mage would stand no chance ofc dont use 2nd charge if you dont have ss rdy. and with orc racial you should have np..warriors are OP to rest of world..not vags playing hybrid..MASS respect to ferals rets and enha ..
 
i'm leveling a monk and when i get bored of qsting i Q random bg's, the leveling brackets are full of prots, most of there KB's are in the teens by the end. you cant tell me they're just good/decent.
 
if i can two hit an fc without boas or even close to bis i think it may be a little op
 
yes they are OP, shield slam is ridiculous. maybe they dont look OP is cuz you're fighting dead lol. looks like he kited you like a boss :p

wow that's some massive lag difference.

Also lighten up guys the whole purpose of the vid is to show that prot warriors aren't unbeatable, and I tried to be fair with the duels. Yes ss is powerful but it's only half the problem that the holy shock outrage was...

And yes Dip, that's the reason I specifically asked DV to duel me :p haha

I'm not saying anything, just showing my perspective in a few duels as a prot warrior. And I am trying juggernaut because I thought it might be more useful to have a guaranteed charge every 12 sec rather than waiting 20 sec per charge after blowing your first double charge.

Also just to note, I did ask other classes to duel, however, the only ones who wanted to duel me in the brief time I recorded these were the ones shown in the vid. So I challenge you to either make a vid showing the god like powers of prots (I haven't helped with this perception in my previous shield slam vid and feel I have tarnished prots even worse lol) or to challenge my prot warrior to a duel with a geared char and I'll put it up on yt.

SS is OP, prot warriors arent.

you would probably win every mage duel if you had double charge talent
