US Project: GG Nineteen

1. Horde or Alliance? (Alliance)

Alliance (and Horde, eventually, once I transfer other twinks over from Kul Tiras).

2. What class and spec would you like to receive funding on and why? (I would like to receive funding on a level 19 discipline priest. I want a priest because they are extremely fun and great healers in the bracket.)

I want to receive funding on my 19 Combat Rogue because when you transfer realms on a 19, which I did about a week ago, you're only allowed to bring 300g with you. I love my rogue (he was my first ever twink) and 19s have always been my favorite part of the game. I'm just trying to rejoin the bracket since I thought it was dead for years.

3. What do you need? (Gear / Guild)(I need any type of gear that would be good or suitable for bg's & 2's/ I would like to join the guild (UGGTW)

I joined UGGTW when I first got to BH, so I'm good as far as guild goes. The only thing I need is the Blackened Defias Boots to complete my Defias set. Unfortunately, my old server did not have any twink activity for years, so I actually thought the bracket was dead for that entire time. Because there isn't any twink activity, there are never any Defias Boots on the AH over there. Basically, there is just no way for me to make the money to buy them when all I have is a 19 and the 300g I was allowed to take with me to BH.

4. Have you played in a tink bracket before? (Yes I'm org. from the 20-29 bracket and 70's)

I played 19s nilla-WotLK and, like I said, it was always my favorite part of WoW. In fact, I stopped playing the game for the most part after they put exp in BG's because, in my eyes, the best part of WoW was gone.

5. Why do you need funding?( I need funding because I'm not a very good gold maker on WoW, I'm rather poor at it.)

I need the funding because I sent my 19 to BH to be closer to the action and be able to join a twink guild, just like the old days. The 19 community is important to me so I wanted to be a part of it, even if that meant going to BH with 300g.

6. How can our funding help your tinkering experience?(Your funding would help my tinker exp. by plenty because without the gold and gear and support from you guys, I would never get a tink.)

It is very important to me that my twinks have the absolute best gear.. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a perfectionist about it haha (always have been). Without funding, there is no way I will be able to get the Defias Boots.

7. How do you play your class? ( I play Disc Priest very smartly, I know how to use trinket's and I know how to Crowd Control.)

I do a lot of CC as my rogue, sapping healers and interrupting their casts with kick. My favorite part of the rogue class is communicating with the other rogues and wiping out the EFC though. Gotta love those flag returns.

8. How do you contribute to your team? ( I contribute very well to teammates, I never disrespect them in any way and always am a positive person no matter what.)

I'm a really relaxed guy, so I get along with everyone (especially in this bracket where most people are also chill). However, 19s are also very important to me, so I take winning seriously. I really want to contribute to the 19s bracket thriving, making it a very competitive place where people know how to just have a good time/work together.

9. Are you interested in competitive PvP? If so, what qualifies you? ( I'm extremely interested in Competitive PvP, what qualifies me is that I hit 2k rating in 3's on a rogue in WoD.)

Competitive PvP is my favorite part of WoW (but only at the 19s level). I started 19 twinking with my friends and family back in nilla, and it was the only thing I did on WoW until "exp in BG's". Since I found out that 19s are still alive, I've let many of those people know, and they plan to start transferring to BH as well and helping the community grow.

10. What sparked your interest in becoming a member of the 19 tink community? ( What sparked my tinkering state of mind was when I was playing my lvl 30 warrior back in Lich King and I was beat by a lvl 19 hunter. I was amazed by how good he was geared and had more health than me even though he was 11 lvl's under mine.)

My Uncle and cousin were the first people to introduce me to 19 twinks, around the time I started playing WoW. As soon as I was introduced, I was hooked. I didn't even bother leveling a main for a long time because the only thing I did was play 19s haha. I'm extremely excited to be back in the 19s community and get my favorite part of the game back.

11. How did you find out about / Who referred you to this thread? ( A nice dwarf shaman named "Purj-BleedingHollow".)

A few people in my guild (UGGTW) were talking about the awesome things that you guys do and I decided to get on Ti and check it out.

I'm a fun guy who is passionate about the well-being of this community. I plan to play as often as I can, and also recruit old gf'd twinks I used to play with on Vengeance. I'll be the first to admit that I'm knocking off some rust after years of not playing 19s, but I hope to be one of the top rogues in the bracket.

15. Do you have any friends or guildmates in the 19s community we should know about?(I do not, I have only 1 person I talk to in the 19 bracket and that Is a shaman named Purj-BleedingHollow.)

I started talking to Ripduck and Mirisgay a lot before transferring from Kul Tiras, and they played a big role in me wanting to make the switch from my home server (KT has been my only server in 10 years of WoW). Since then I've made several friends in UGGTW.

16. Is there anything else we should know about you? (Not really, besides the fact that I'm always ready to play some tinks!)

I just want to say, it would mean A LOT to me if you would help me out. Without your help I have no way of getting the Defias Boots.

17. Do you have any questions for us?( I do not, but thank you for giving me the opportunity to sign up and join you guys in 19's!)

I just want to know the btags of some of the guys running this program so we can play some WSG! I think what you guys do is awesome.

Denied

It pains to say this especially after all the effort you put into writing this application but I must deny your application. GG19s does not fund rogues as there are already too many rogues in the bracket, let alone giveaway expensive grandfathered gear.

I'm planning on playing rogue. I honestly have no idea what spec is the best right now.

All I have are my boa's. Never played on this server.

I haven't actively played a tink since 2009. After they changed battlegrounds to give xp I was initially very excited, after sitting in queue for 6 hours everyday for a week without getting a game, I moved on.

They've pretty much changed everything. I used to play a hunter and just defend the flag all day. I loved opening the scoreboard to see 10+ flag returns by my name. I've played the new hunter since returning very briefly and didn't like it at all.

Like I said, i used to love just defending the flag. I wanted people to joint the battleground, open the scoreboard, see my name and just get really sad, knowing they were going to have one hell of a time getting the flag past me.

I was recently just kind of playing in a regular 50's bracket on one of my characters when this stupid hunter kept one shotting me. Putting me on tilt I looked her up, saw the only difference between her and me was that she had full enchants. So then i started looking around for what the heck enchants I'm supposed to be using now and I found a link to this website on an old reddit post or something. I've never really enjoyed the high level content of this game. I've had an active subscription at one point or another in every single expansion that has been released, yet this is the first time ever I've hit max level. No surprise, it's super boring. It only took one battleground on a lower level character to remind me why I used to enjoy this game.

@Noshedidnt unfortunately we are unwilling to fund rogues. There is an abundance of rogues already in games (way too many).

If you wish to play another class, please redo an application and I'll take a look at it right away.

2. What class and spec would you like to receive funding on and why?
Druid-Balance, i would like to have variety in my tinking experience, currently have a healer and while there are sometimes too many healers queueing i would like to have a dps backup that i can swap to and wreck face :D

gloves - Magefist gloves or Fine Leather Gloves

Enchants:
Neck: Gift of Haste
Back: Gift of Haste
Chest: Peerless Stats
Bracers: Major Stamina or Super Intellect

yes, 19 disc priest and about 7-8 years ago i played a 70 twink mage

5. Why do you need funding?
i cannot afford the enchants i need on bleeding hollow and i would like to have the opportunity to swap characters when there are too many healers queueing and not enough dps, also i would like to light up the world with big numbers :D

6. How can our funding help your tinkering experience?
allow me to experience the dps side of the bracket, priests get focused too much :p

I would like to receive funding on my boomkin, because i recently made this twink on bleeding hollow and i do not have enough gold to buy the piece of armor i need.

I would love to receive magefist gloves for my boomkin and glove reinforcement enchants to go with them !

Yes i have, i played in the 29 bracket since mists of pandaria. i continue to play them on the realm, "Zul'jin" and occasionally my level 10, but not very much.
5. Why do you need funding?
I found out that bleeding hollow was the #1 realm for twinks, and decided to move there, doing so i was left without gold to purchase the gear i needed.
6. How can our funding help your tinkering experience?
I would play better in battlegrounds / arenas because of the donation :)

I love my boomkin, i usually DoT enemy players in the mid of WSG and i like to play the "Hit n Run" game.

I will play battlegrounds with my team, and would love to get into premades

Yes i would love to get into competitive PvP. I have yet to play in an event, so i cant really say i've had much experience.

I saw players in goldshire and they looked pretty cool dueling and such. This was the slow start in my interest in twinking :)
