US Project: GG Nineteen

I could use some stuff, but I already have garrison's up and running on BH, so it's really just a matter of time until I can save up for some GF'ed items I'm missing. What I could really use is: whoever is buying everything and posting for 100k, not do that.

This is great for anyone new to server , though. Sometimes the prices for even non-GF'ed items gets out of hand, and it can be the difference between people queueing right away, or having to save up for weeks to start. I support this movement.

Well said, High twink prices do make it harder for newer players to get involved and also makes it harder to fund and recruit new blood.

Have you played in a twink bracket before, on what server/faction/bracket?
since 2010 started on spinebreaker with 2 rogues who have since been leveled and a hunter, i couldnt really level past 19 so thats how i started.

Why do you need funding?
basically i have enough gold for a half done twink but the BoE pricing on BH is so high i cant afford a full resto FC/Boomkin

How can our funding help your twinking experience?
ill be able to afford a bis boomkin/resto FC for wargames because my goal is to have nearly every class to play in wargames to help the comunity and even out pugs aswel

What class and spec would you like to receive funding on?
resto FC/Boomkin for community wargames and to play pugs when my faction needs help

alliance pref for wargames but horde is fine too

yeah i mean im interested in wargames and reners 2s/3s i really enjoy them and i consider myself a decent player i also have lots of time to dedicate to it.

What sparked your interest in becoming a member of the 19 twink community?
came to faceroll levelers on my hunter/rogues in 2010 stayed because of the awesome people and community and now im really interested in the more competitive side of 19s and growing our community

my time and dedication. i have done lots of behind the scenes work promoting the twink cup and the bracket. if youd like me to elaborate i can make a post with what ive done so far for the bracket but for this threads purposes i dont need to stroke my own ego and look like an asshole

I have played in numerous twink brackets: 1, 10, 19, 20, 24, 29, 39, 50, 70 and 80, but have always considered 19 twinking "my home". I have been twinking on EU servers since early TBC, on the servers; Stormreaver, Bladefist, Draenor, Aggramar, Sylvanas and Stormscale.

Why do you need funding?
As mentioned above I am from the EU, and recently started playing on US servers. I went here to seek activity and a bigger community. But when you leave your whole network behind, and move to a whole new continent, funding your own twinks can be a bit of a hassle. Usually you can rely on your network when you are looking for rare items, and you are able to borrow gold for that one item you are missing that suddenly popped up on AH, knowing that your friends trust that you will pay them back. But without any friends (yet at least) and no mains with a bulking bank, all the help you can get, is greatly appreciated.

How can our funding help your twinking experience?
It would help me by making it easier to enter the twinking community; when you don't have the best gear, usually you are looked down upon, or even kicked from WSG's. It's like when you meet another person: the first thing you notice is how they look, and afterwards how they really are, but if you don't give them a chance to do that, all you know about that person is how he/she looks.

What class and spec would you like to receive funding on?
I would like to recieve funding on a monk, either MW or BM. This is a class that I have played for some time, and really enjoy playing, especially MW.

Do You want to be Horde or Alliance?
Preferably horde.

Are you interested in competitive PvP? If so, what qualifies you?
I am indeed interested. I have been an actor on the european twink stage for years now. Been a member of a lot of guilds, and done almost weekly premades.

What sparked your interest in becoming a member of the 19 twink community?
That was a long time ago, when I was playing with a friend of mine, and we randomly inspected a rogue with AGM in Stormwind. We asked him how he got it, and thus we were introduced to the 19 bracket.

I am an experienced and social player, committed to improving and helping my team mates improve. I have no problems calling out my team mates when they fuck up, but neither when they do good.

But I have a really big probleme here. Im trying to get new players from Germany for years.
Most ppl think pvptwinks are mostly for those who aren't successful in the endgame - mostly, cause I show them my main character and so I show them that I got success if I want.
But the ppl aren't much interested aswell.

An other point is that much ppl who want to try twinkin, don't have that much money for the items and if they don't have the best items some "protwinkers" aren't friendly enough and want them to leave the bgs/ guilds - that mustnt be! We "older" twinkers with many much experience need them and they need to get help of us. If we farm equipment or try to help them to play better. Mostly the new players are happy for help and thank berry much if we older players help them without giving them equipment, gold or st else.
So be there! If some one is insecure. This is, what I know, what most ppl who are interested in starting twinking are looking for.

And an other point is that they don't know which fraction to chose. There must be a balance between new and old players in bgs between the two fractions or it is like in Germany on our last days... Everyone wants to play horde and the new ones who want to play ally are losing every bg and become dismotivated, key their tqinks and tqinking projects down and maybe started playing an other game or endgame.

So you see if we want to work on a developed community we need to solve some problems and I think there are many more.

Lovely initiative!

Recently moved to US, more specific to Bleeding Hollow about a week ago, and I feel that I've been welcomed with open arms by the majority of the tinks there. Lot of friendly people whom I see forward to getting better known with.

I don't really need funding as Im sure there are people who need it alot more than me.
Again. Great project and I hope it brings the bracket to new heights!

I do not require funding/sponsoring however if someone would like to purchase some pets to help get me established on Alliance side it would be appreciated. Horde side as well although not as much. Just state what pets you are interested in purchasing to learn in a PM and I am sure we can work out an equitable exchange. Either gold or healer gear.

Sweet stuff. Seems like BH is the home realm of several twink brackets. I could bring over my 10 twink guild over there with its guild bank filled with items (everyone is inactive in it). Since we share the same bracket, figured I could help out 10s if they needed help too.

and I couldnt stop thinking of this when you said the amount of gold :p

I am mostly known for playing too much in the 10-14 bracket on Medivh and Velen, on both Horde and Alliance. Ive also spent several expansions on my F2P druid and 70 twink.

Why do you need funding?

I have a lot of friends on BH (marb, alex, tril, restopathic... ), I have wanted to join them but the economy on that realm just prevents me from making anything. Funding would let me be able to play some 19s with them.

How can our funding help your twinking experience?

It would let me be able to play on the holy lands of 19 twinks, and get to see if its really as bad as people make it sound, or if its just nonsense blabber. Also, as said above, it would let me play on a twink with my friends instead of playing my 10 on my home realm.

What class and spec would you like to receive funding on?

It would be awesome if someone could fund me a holy/disc priest . Its my favourite class, and I know people need healers!!

Preferred Alliance, all my friends are on there :) If theres like a huge abundance of Alliance players then Horde could work too.

I love competitive gameplay as long as people dont use lame tactics to win. Fair play is always fun specially if there is a healthy competitive atmosphere! Having played priest/war/rogue for the majority of like 8 years, I have mastered all those classes in both end game pvp, and also in twink pvp. A few arena/pvp achieves to brag about as well ;)

 I have several fanboys, so if they see me playing the 19 bracket it might bring more population too :) Apart from that, I am a really educated player so I might teach everyone a few tricks now and then (not just in game stuff, but irl things like if you only breath from your chest its bad for you on the long run).

You hit the nail on the head, the best part about having the kinds of personalities that we do on this team is that we are accustom to these sorts of situations, and we have experience in handling them, Bracket balance is something we will be CLOSELY watching and adjusting our recruitment too. We also understand that in order to recruit new players, we need to make 19s and Bleeding Hollow as appealing as possible, at the moment any question is just a post away but we will be developing a system to help inform new players through a much more systematic approach.

tl;dr - We know, Were on it, and staying multiple steps ahead.
