Precious Ribbon has been hotfixed?

Hey this morning (after weekly resets), my friend tried to continue his farm for the Precious Ribbon in ICC on his new lvl 10. To his great surprise he was no longer able to enter the raid. It said that he did not meet the instance level requirement and needed to be level 80 to enter.

I asked him 5 times if it was because he tried to enter BEFORE his 80+ runner, but he told me that the 90 that was running him was inside.

So before we come to final conclusions, I would like to see if this is happening to anyone else?

Or have they finally patched the Ribbon?

It was the change to how grouping works in WoD that "fixed" it so that you can no longer enter if you are below level. I'll still never understand how so many low levels got that Ribbon in 1-2 runs, I cleared ICC weekly on 3 toons during WotLK and never saw it drop once. The same goes for those Level 70 Hunter Twinks that got the Legendary Bow in just a handful of runs, while my Main that was running Sunwell when it was current has probably killed Kil'jaeden between 80-100 times since TBC times and it's never dropped. RNG in WoW (well any MMO really) can seriously kiss my ass.
