It doesn't matter what your reasons are, you exploited. If a shop if being looted you don't have to phone the police, but you don't have to take the xbox either. I personally hope you don't get banned, but you knew what you did when you did it.

Back in cata (I forget which patch) there was an exploit ( It wasn't hard to do, you didn't need any third party software, you just needed to form a group with a higher level) where a twink could get high level satchel gear, it was very OP and took even OPer enchants. I was totally against using the gear in pvp (there's even some threads around you can read), but I had the gear and used it in pve. months went by and everyone got reported and banned (none perma), I didn't. I forgot one night to remove it before I logged... Booom, next morning 24h ban. I didn't moan, infact this is the first time I've ever mentioned it.

tl;dr Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

I don't think the people who are against this exploit are against it -because- it's against the rules. I think they're against it because it's kind of a dick move to do against other players who either have a moral exception to pulling a dick move themselves, or, who happen to play a class that doesn't get as much benefit from the exploit as some other classes. The fact that it's against the rules is those people's hope for retribution.

You're right though that no one who was knowingly breaking a rule has ever been stopped by someone else saying "Hey, don't you know that's against the rules?"

No 1 is getting banned :3 . anyway, dueling rogues wth BoS was a real challenge for my hunter, yesterday i truwly enjoyed playing my hunter lol, lost some games but still , 3 rogues after me with BoS, i had 7 deaths, 15kills, most of them rogues who i killed, and who killed me lel.
