You should learn, that just because people don't share your views, doesn't mean that they're wrong

I could say the same thing to you? You're the one who started this whole thing by calling me out saying that I'm wrong. lmao

What... Feedback is not negative or positive, it's just feedback.

My brain hurts.

With your logic, positive influence and negative influence doesn't make sense; You can only influence someone in a positive or negative way.

You stated that I was wrong, I stated that you were wrong. I understand fully that you may be correct, but you haven't given any rational arguement that makes sense. I've asked you a bunch of questions in order to understand you, but the answers makes me facepalm.

If I didn't grasp the idea that you may be correct then why the fuk would I ask you all these questions then?

People these days, holy fuk.

Chill the fuck out, this is not hard to understand.

Influence is not the same as feedback. I don't know what you mean by negative or positive feedback, give me an example and I'll tell you if I agree or not.

- Negative Feedback: "You did this wrong."
- Positive Feedback: "You did this correct."

If you seriously believe that "Negative Feedback" and "Positive Feedback" doesn't make sense, then why in the world are they used together in a million examples, including molecular and psychological processes?

Obviously influence and feedback isn't the same thing, it's a comparison. If they were the same thing then it wouldn't be a comparison.

Alright im gonna explain how I understand feedback.

- Negative Feedback: "You did this wrong."
This is feedback
- Positive Feedback: "You did this correct."
And this is feedback as well.

None of it will have a negative impact on the reciever, since he is given an opportunity to improve.
Of course there are different ways to give feedback, by either focusing on what they did good or what they did bad, but neither of them are negative.

You should also explain why people are using the words "negative and positive feedback" to explain psychological and molecular processes, as if you can't then your view is flawed.

You can present something negative in a negative way.
So if someone did something wrong, you'll be telling them something negative, whether you wanna do it in a positive or negative way is up to you.

Like marking incorrect items on a test with a red "x" as opposed to marking the correct items on a test with a green check.
Thank the lord we did not have to depend on the millennials to storm the beach of Normandy!

It shows that some people share your view on feedback. That it can be negative or positive. I, however, don't agree.

No, it shows that you're extremely ignorant to believe that a cup means fish.

Molecular processes? How is that relevant? I don't think you know what the words you are writing actually means. Read this http://psychology.wikia.com/wiki/Positive_feedback
And you will see that it is highly irrelevant in regards to our discussion.

Your entire post was about reinforcement, not feedback.

And I wouldn't call you a professional
All I ever hear out of you are condescending posts that may or may not have anything to DL with the subject at hand with an overlaying veneer of egotism. And your I'm-an-old-man fallback, of course. Really, if you enjoyed intelligent conversation as much as you'd have UA believe, you'd spend your time engaging with other intellects, rather than, well, THIS website.

And THAT was an example of negative feedback.

I would presume by your statement above that you are calling XPoff's membership unintellingent. For shame...

You are correct, it was an example of negative feedback. But I stand by my prior statement a few users in thread are getting the concepts of feedback and reinforcement confused. Just as in other threads they get skill and talent confused.

Happy Easter everyone!!
