Pay to Win?

There has been alot of bitching recently about p2w in the 19 bracket, we had a thread get blown up over consumable use and some people think Allied Races are p2w...well I can tell you that as many recent members have pointed out, Worgen is still BiS for Alliance and Tauren still has one of the only aoe stun in the bracket. Kul'Tiran's are not gonna change much and yes, Zandalari are really good, but on top of having some pretty hefty unlock conditions, the other races available are not only better in some situations but FREE to play. Anyone with an Allied Race has to spend 25-30$, and just like with consumables, that money does not guarantee wins. Start putting in the time and money to play these races at 19, otherwise have a nice day.

I was under the impression that you could no longer race change to the allied races for lvl 19's. I could be wrong though.

I did it like a day or two ago so its still working and I doubt its gonna change.

Lmfao, and I suppose that your race change you did was for research purposes only? Gtfo out of here, you clearly want some kind of edge yourself kid.

How you have the nerve to make a whole thread bad mouthing people for faction change and then admit you just tried it yourself, is beyond me.

As far as consumables, get rich or don’t enter random BGs. That simple.

Play what you enjoy. If that means paying for a race change so be it. The real crime here is Blizzard not allowing us the option to start the new races from level 1.
Correction; Eligibility for character services is level 10 and no lower.

What he's saying is that you should just be able to create a lvl 1 character as you can with any non-allied specific race.... Not faction change at a lower level.
I understand what was said, but since no one here is a activi$ion Dev working in the Anaheim Blizzard Offices. What he is suggesting won't matter, the game is what it offers. regardless of the "Crime" you still need to work the reputation(Pre-Requisite) and the introductory quest requirements, then yes you can pay to win with an OP race of your choice. now unless @HairyTreeMan is willing to ask @Phrontistery for a doctored Photo of him working for Activi$ion. He is a _________?

I've had my dose of xpoff for the day.

What do you mean lmao. You "corrected" him by your misinterpretation of his post. So no, you obviously don't understand what was said. I'll put it pretty simple.

1) You have a 120 main with the appropriate faction specific reputation(s) to unlock your allied race(s).
2) You're twinking in the 19's bracket.

Can you:

A) Make an allied race starting from lvl 1 and lvl it to 19?

Or

B) Make a non-allied race and lvl it to 19 and then race change into an allied race?

His entire point was that you should just be able to make a lvl 1 allied race, and not start at 20, so that you avoid this whole race change barrier. Does he know that this is not how it is currently? YES. However, was he SUGGESTING/WISHING FOR that this is how it should be? YES.

It's pretty simple.

When did I bad mouth faction changing lol, play whichever side you want, I like Horde and yes it was for very important research. This entire post is about addressing the "issue" of Allied Races in the 19 bracket, I think its a non-issue, calling me a kid is just a pathetic attempt to downplay my opinion.

void elf is definitely not the best race, dark iron dwarf probably is but is by no means op, it just has the strongest racial. as stated, many of the default races are very, very good such as goblin, tauren, nelf, worgen, etc.

if zandalari doesn't get nerfed, that may be more in line with "p2w," but even then it requires a really obnoxious grind especially if you're not already horde at 120.

also let's be clear, buying consumables is not p2w, it's p2lose brain cells, sort of like paying to sniff paint Bv)

How is Zandalari p2w even in the slightest, that would be like saying Nightbourne is p2w, by the way you are all playing a p2p game btw.

because you're paying for something utterly broken, I don't even think it's completely p2w since twinking in general is p2w for a lot of people, but if there was one thing you could get a huge advantage from by spending actual dollars or euros or whatever, it would probably be zandalari troll

But I can race change to anything else and it wouldn't be pay 2 win is that what your trying to say?
