id like to think that im more legit than you , judgeing by 5 out of 10 items for your balance set is cloth or leather ..



which isent excactly an advice or guide to give any holy pala, makeing them gimp their defense with low armor and get raped by rogues.



then again its your guide / opinion , not mine. figured id just tell people not to follow it, cause its werry misleading in manny ways like Llare and Erícah pointed out.

nah but srsly I know I'm not great at playing Hpallys, just thought I'd give my personal input. This guide is rediculous and should be removed so other pallys don't follow.

i see alot of classes/players from WT and thru out the whole horde side side switching to BE, when i asked you why you went from tauren to BE, more than once no answer.



racials are important...reason majority of alliance are HU, NE, Worg



most of the horde are overall BE in 19 now due to switching....arcane resist, arcane torrent

My apologies been busy lately, It's good to go belf for any class you can because of the benefit of an extra interrupt in any case. Since interrupts are rare in this bracket and are extremely important (game changer spell) many have realized the significance of arcane torrent and i even catch myself hitting that key "then having a /sigh" after when i get in a situation where it could have been a great help to me... I'm human now
 
The guide stresses placement and awareness which I agree with (knowledge & experience contributes greatly to player skill) however, having 3/3 Protector of the Innocent seems like a copout to me. If you're placement and awareness are "good" or hell, even if they are "great" or as some claim to be on this board "leet", 3/3 POTI seems only to boost healing done on the scoreboard with largely unneccesary heals.



In this build you have chosen to boost damage output over what some argue is a crucial (and dependable) emergency heal and yet the only time I can fathom that you would actually NEED 3/3 POTI is when you can't keep up with your heals. It isn't hard to switch focus flash heal/wog, switch focus continue healing. Make a macro or 2, use the f-keys, whatever. Not being able to do that is a player issue, hence why I think that 3/3 POTI is a copout.
 
agree with llare, you need more than 2 sets of gear to be a good holy pally.

get the fun crit cloth set, get an fc set, get an 'oh shit they have lots of rogues' set, get a hitcapped set for o, etc.

'placement' is situational, might as well have the situational gear to take advantage of your placement.
 
the primary reason that i haven't ever done an Hpally guide is that gear and behavior is very situational. i literally have 8 gear swap sets. i give props to Ore for making an attempt to point out some of the obvious beginner basics for the new hpallies (FoTM).



however those of us who have played pallies since the beginning don't need to rag on Ore because of the mistakes that aren't ironed out of the guide yet.



i don't sig or link my twinks generally, but tagging on one of my pallies so im not lumped in with noobs.
