EU+US open satchels now for BIS

I need more info on this before I fully decide on this. Like does opening them now give all the rewards such as shoulders,bracers,boots,and gloves at 19-20+ because on ptr it does but not 100% sure on live sense before it was cape and belt only at ilvl 25.

I think it only drops belt and cloak atm, but I could be wrong.

belt/cloak are the only ones that stay ilvl 25. the gloves/bracers/ring/boots that dropped for me changed to ilvl 23 on beta

Existing satchel cloaks don't play nice (at least on a rogue). They are ilvl 25 but have int, which does not become agi.

Opening on beta gives agi-only ones (with no grayed out int).

So cloaks might not be better. Agi classes will likely be using parachute cloak anyways, so meh.

the ones with greyed out agi were still giving agi on my druid..
 
Belt gains 1 more stam at ilvl 25 vs ilvl 23. Cloak appears to really have no difference.
 
Mith reported it on forums so they got nerfed. Opening now is best.
 
I really don't think it will matter when people open their satchel bags at this point, this ilvl 25 stuff you're talking about doesnt work. opened 12 satchel bags on live this morning to check on beta if it worked which it didnt. These ilvl 25 satchels you're talking about are from the older generations of satchel bags when you could only get belts and cloaks from them. only those will remain ilvl 25 while all the new ones will turn into or stay ilvl 23 regardless of what you try do, putting them into void storage now to redraw them back out after pre-patch goes live doesnt work either.

seems like I might be the one in the wrong here, a friend of mine showed me it working for cloth users. think it might have something to do with the armor changes going from mail to plate and perhabs the same for shamans / hunters?

Yup, the belts that retain their 25 item level are from the older dungeon satchels. Basically any item from the old satchels (not the ones you obtain on live currently, or in BFA) will stay item level 25.

If you play a rogue, depending on the rolls that you get on the old satchel belts, they can be really good and highly viable if you're lacking things like screecher belt or the pre-cata BoE's.
