Hello everyone!

This is the thread for me running shadowfang keep, hunting for any rares i can get my hands on. The goal is to atleast do 1000 runs of Shadowfang Keep. I'll be posting here the amount of runs i do, and any items i get. I'll take screenshots of the more rare items. I'm not interested in twinking on 19 at the moment, so i'll sell anything i find here.

I'll be doing this on my 80 twink druid. Malar @ Moonglade - Community - World of Warcraft

these are all random dungeons and 80% of them probably had a retarded tank that wanted to clear all mobs in WC.

What you are talking about is farming on different characters, different random dungeons, and all at different times. Hes talking about farming the same dungeon over and over. Just him alone. There is alot of difference.

Different random dungeons? lol 65% WC and 35% SFK, yeah that's one hell of variety.

Different characters? the majority of these have been farmed on either a hunter or a mage, not much of variety here either.

Different times? I stand guilty, I did not farm all these at once. I also think OP didn't farm 1k dungeons at the same time.

Just him alone? I'd rather be alone than have to stand a mentally challnged brazilian/f2p/ninja group lol.


Sure, 1k dungeons is a hell lot to farm. But it's not thaaaaat extrodinary as you appear to be thinking.
 
I would say Uldaman is more tedious than doing SFK, and with some music and enjoying the dungeon it isn't all that bad. I used to go for the grail on diablo 2 back in the days (Get all items to drop) and i spent around 7 months before i finally got a tyraels to drop for me. I enjoy doing this, and the only instance i won't do this with is Stratholm as i used to farm for the mount back in the days, and that was many many runs.

I did 50 dungeons yesterday, and would like to reach around 60-70 today. Got atleast 2 000 to get through, so it's going to take around 1-2 months. Then i'll probably try another dungeon where you find rares.

I do take breaks when i can't enter from too many resets, but other than i rather do this than LFR or such.

PS : Getting some very rare patterns, so might end up getting some money aswell! :)
 
Quick question, are there any greens worth saving from SFK? Deleting around 20+ each run, so just wondering if i'm throwing away money or not :)

the point I made was that 1k dungeons isnt that of a big deal, it's not even that time consuming when doing it on a high lvl char lmao
 
Guys, relax. I agree that 1 000 dungeons isn't that much, it's quite a bit when you do the same one over and over. But all in all it's not that much. One of my paladins got 1 300 dungeons completed, and then they don't count early vanilla -> TBC so he probably sits on around 2200+.

Anyone can bring forward a character with many dungeons done, it sn't a bragging feat and it isn't that important either.

I'm doing this for the rare and statistics, the only reason why i said atleast 1000 is because that would make it a decent sample when it comes to %.

Not sure if anyone answered your post as there is so much off topic posting here.

Greens worth saving
Any kind of Mog Gear would be worth putting on AH (Bandit, Scouting, Burnished, Hulking, I dont know the cloth ones but use your opinion)

For stats
Fortified Bracers of Strength
Blood Ring
Forest Leather Bracers
There maybe more but I cant think of anything off the top of my head
