I'm going to call it an evening now, went from 81 runs to 147 today. Would like to get at least another 80 tomorrow. I'm not planning to stop before i hit 1000, so even if i get a shadowfang I'll keep on running it.

With a 1000 runs you would be realy hated by the rng gods if you didn't get a couple SF's and perhaps even a gloomshroud.

From past experience I've noticed that I'm either very lucky, or very unlucky. It rarely falls in the middle.

tbh if you dont get atleast 5 fangs and 1 gloom in 1000 runs you're unlucky

This is good to know, do we know which mobs drop them? There was someone saying that only the bosses could drop the fang, but not sure if that is true anymore?

i got my fang from first pack of mobs you'll meet inside of SFK, so no, not only bosses anymore

All BoE's can drop from every mob

Right now I'm doing about 20-30 runs per sitting, SFK takes 7 minutes to clear all mobs and bosses.

In patch 6.0.3 blizzard fixed the droprates of the BoE items in SFK. Pre-6.0.3 Shadowfang and Assa Blade dropped from bosses only and Necrology Robes, Gloomshroud armor, and Duskbringer didn't drop at all. Now you can get these items from all mobs in the instance.
