EU+US Old God Assaults in Uldum and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms

Hello,
Do we sub 120's have anything to do in these locations? I headed there today on my 119 and was getting very nice AP from the bosses (500+) and boe 120 gear. Are these lootable daily, or weekly or just the once?

Anything else worth noting?

How do you manage to phase in to the 8.3 Uldum/Vale? I suppose you need to be grouped with a 120 who completed the 8.3 questline?

I unlocked 8.3 assaults on my 120, but my fresh 120s and 110s only see the old zones.

cant participate on a legion account. when zoning in you receive a “requires bfa subscription” or something and you stay in the old vetsion on the zone.

All rares should be daily, some drop 550 some drop less, most will be hard to kill. Usually the bigger rares with a lot of hp drop the 550ap

not every rare can spawn during different invasion types, and timers are mostly long, a few are 45 mins.

Sadly they don’t do a zone call like they did on mechagon, you’ll just need to get a spawn location addon and mooch off LFG too. An lfg addon that can search multiple keywords like premadegroupfinder (if it still works in bfa) would probably help. Probably best to not go crazy trying to get every single rare daily, just the bigger ones that drop 500ap


Sometimes there are lfg raid groups for killing rares, would be a decent way to get some kills without any camping or endless solo flying.

How do you get to see the rares on your 110?

I have not done anything on my 120 for this, I simply took the org portal to uldum and there it all was, a really busy zone with 120 mobs every where. I have not been to the vale yet. This was on my 119 characters.

For my twink at lvl 111 uldum is updated, vale is not. Should be same for everyone

I just got a 120 sword for transmog, on my 119 and it is available in my transmog collection (ie can you collect this appearance before 120).

Maybe useful for lower levels who collect transmog items.

Yes, I also looted Corrupted Aspirant's Longbow and Corrupted Aspirant's Chain Waistguard from war chests during assaults on my 110. So there are new moggs for us to get.
